Thanks for the link.

I've been speaking with someone that managed Atari Ireland, and showed them the only document I got to see which was this one:

WP_20150314_12_08_36_Pro.jpg

I thought they had some interesting insight into it. See what you think. Shame they are not able to see more of the same.

Here are their comments:

Interesting
documentation . . . That would have come out of engineering meetings
and at the time would have been considered proprietary since Atari was
very cautious about other game mfgrs trying to rip us off or hire away
our top people. . . . .Of the games listed ,
· “M.
Hally” was Mike Hally, I knew him well, worked with him on several
games. . . Mike was a designer, I was the Mfgr Engineering Mgr and also
worked in both Pinball and “coin-op” video games engineering as needed
and as I was directed by Nolan Bushnell, Steve Bristow ( Deceased) and
Noah Anglin . . .Mike was, and I hope still is, a great guy.

· “E. Logg” was Ed Logg, one of the first designers at Coin-op. He developed several video games. Heavy in software development.

· M.
Loper was Milt Loper, started in the eng. Dept as a “helper” who
eventually married Carol Branham who was the head of electrical harness
design for both video games and pinball.

· M. Albaugh was Mike Albaugh also a video game designer

I
Recognize a couple of the other names but can’t put the name to a face .
. . If you come across more of that documentation, let me see them and I
may be able to fill in some blanks . . . .

Dave
Stubben’s name should appear on quite a bit as he was an electronic
genius and still is...

Forgot to mention that he also has lots of pictures taken inside the Atari Ireland factory which he said he would share with me, so once he makes them available I'll make sure that everyone can get to see them, whose interested

Interesting to see the reference to Gravitar Cocktail - never released. Wonder if they proto'd it.

They sure did, although working status unknown!

You would think if the people can get tracked down and stories told, all the found paperwork etc, a good book could be written!

Cheers

Yea I agree. Just a shame none of the other similar confidential docs have been made available as yet. The ex-Atari employee could fill in some blanks, and tell us more info that none of us know about

I have no idea what type of photos will come up. Hopefully some good stuff :)

I'll make an effort to get more of the stuff online, hopefully the fixed link will show you loads more now anyhow - there honestly wasn't much more other than some manual stuff.

I must admit it was interesting to read that Irish Liberator cabs _were_ built - albeit only one prototype. Wonder what happened to that!

When Atari Ireland was cleared out there were 7 or 8 filing cabinets FULL of all this stuff.

We were hoping it was all going to be found at Trafford Park but nothing other than this stuff that turned up in a machine or in a box has surfaced.

I have absolutely no idea where it is, it makes the most sense it was with the machines if I am honest. Maybe destroyed.

The original Trafford pictures showed CAT boxes on some of the machines also - when we got there none of that was there either.

I have had another location described to me which didn't sound like this location or the cabinets that were present there, so wouldn't surprise me if there was another stash somewhere. It may show up at some point in the future

There was another stash yes - I heard that was lost some 4-5 years earlier before this one and was auctioned off or just destroyed.

I have a single pic of the place.

There may very well be a third place for the Galaxian3 Theatre.
