Amazing thread, thanks for posting. I've never played on one but if there is one going in at Arcade Club then I'll give it a go there 
What I want to know is how you moved this thing around doing the resto, I know you are a big lad but this is Geoff Capes material!!

I lifted it up and down myself 💪💪
The new fluro plastic arrived yesterday that sits over the control panel blacklight. The old one was cracked but also bleached from the excessive black light exposure.
So first let's compare them!

Found some time to finish the door rebuild and fit it today.
The hours I put into this coin door was pretty insane. It was nearly a month of work.

Current status is working without sound and chase lights.
Sound amps and chase light sequencer PCBs are due for delivery tomorrow after @Syrup2407 kindly fixed and serviced them.
Which just leaves me to install them, fit the back door and install new locks.

Not sure if this is a repost from an earlier message but the issue is your -5v if you are only getting 3 flashes. The 4th and last flash is the speech chip test itself and it needs +5v and -5v for this chip to operate.

Game is now fully working. Video of moment Sark spoke to me 😍😍😍😍
Turns out I was missing a bit of loom. Two AC taps straight off the fuse block into the -5 aux PCB! Many thanks to both @myPinballs and @Syrup2407 that helped get me there and realise I was missing a small piece of loom!
It just needs locks, 10p inserts, and me to stick the back door on.
Restoration complete!

Well done Oliver, a monster of a task and great to see young Max enjoying what was the 'norm' for us back in the day.
It's not difficult to see why we all got so damned excited when we walked into an Arcade when we were kids and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it and still enjoying it today!

Proper, proper, proper restoration. A lot of hours but worth it in the end!
Very impressive looking cabinet, you can see how it'd draw people round it with all the cool neon, nice one
