Hello everyone,
i recovered this board, it's a 4 pcb one that came from an arcade with a motorcycle like controller.
I cannot identify it and i need to dig with my multimeter to find all the pinouts, and rom dumping didn't help (maybe encrypted?)

Can you help me? Thanks!

Any manufacturer names, or serial numbers on it?
Nope, none of that sadly

The board looks similar to a Sega System 16, but it has some differences so i suppose it's a bootleg.

I'll try to boot it up, do you have any hints on how to identify power pins and video output? It has no jamma or similar connectors

Hard to tell just from the single numbers , But , The C11 ect (Cant make them out on your pick) could be one of these :-

Its not 100% accurate as its a bootleg so can be sketchy sometimes.

Hope this helps,

Dave.

P.S The only true way is to pull a program rom and read it.

P.P.S Better pictures may help of the board ROMS.

Thank you for your answer.

I tried to read some roms, but they don't have any explicit game name inside it, just gibberish characters (maybe it's encrypted?)

When i get home i'll post some more detailed rom pics.

Thank you.

Clue being in it had motorbike like controller :) and it's 2 pcbs like Hang-on original with seperate audio pcb
Any idea on how to understando how to wire it to a PSU and a CRT? I have an arcade one, so i should be able to have all the required volts.

It was attached to an old Hantarex, so i think it pulls out RGB with H/V Sync

If we are thinking a HO boot then speak to @RenegadeR on this thread and compare photos.

it's hang-on or induro-racer
the 3 cables at the bottom are for the second big board,
the 2 on the side go to the sound board and a second board covered in GFX roms.

It is quite simple so it only needs 5V and ground.
The video connector you can see the colors are quite logically done.

I took a picture on how it is connected.

On my board the 5v and ground are done in a hacky way, so they soldered the ground wire on the top of each board and the 5v on the back of each board.
Although it does work I dont even need to plug in those 2 power connectors to make the game run.

That's so precious, thank you!
Do you have a pic on how to connect the pcbs with the ribbons?

I took some extra pictures for you.

The first picture I disconnected the cable that goes to the controls.
On the second picture you see a more wider view.

good thing about the bootleg is it uses standard connectors :)

one warning about these type of sega games,
the inputs wont work unless you supply 5v and ground to the input connector - the inputs are optically isolated for some reason.

How are they called? I supposed a molex but i'm not sure...

RN i will just check if it boots, the controller is not in my hands ATM.
