Wanted to flag this episode of the podcast for those that haven't already listened to it, do it, it's a cracker. Loved every minute of it!

Olli @Alpha1 get all the personal tales compiled in a book, or on a dedicated archive site or something. The personal take on the stories were incredible and need preserving themselves, even if some are squirreled away in the raids forum here. For people that missed out on the glory days of the raids like me, it's amazing to hear such great first hand stories.

Finally caught up on the previous pod (207) too. Have to say congrats yet again to the mighty @RygarR , have a feeling he won't be dethroned in 2025 either. As much as I love a bit of trash talk too, having met him at the recent meet he's such a top bloke, and talented player, it just wouldn't be right to suggest such behaviour of other contenders 😂

I listened to this episode today, what a fucking great one it was,.loved every second of it.

I have read about the French raid and the Duke of lancaister before, but still enjoyed it very much. And on top of that we got the Zimbabwe story absolutley Bonkers.

Thank you for sharing @Alpha1 , you are a great story teller, giving so much details but it still feels like you are just scratching the surface.... I want more... Can you please write a book about your journey. :)

Catching up on these and am currently enjoying the Spelunker pod (y)

Good to hear Alex mention the TATE shooter : Project Neon for the Neo Geo. There is a previous TATE shmup for the Neo Geo : Neo XYX. You can also play Neo XYX in YOKO mode although it's much better played vertical. Top game. IMO one of the best shooters on the Neo Geo. It gets close to bullet-hell at times
