Looks like a nice one, and it's always good to see another Star Wars in collectors hands. Hope you can get it up and running before long
Thanks guys, well my missus rings me today saying someone from an old cruise site from back in the days we used to show cars contacted her knowing i was into arcade gaming, i rang up and it was his boss saying he had a star wars and needed to get rid as his business has expanded and he needed the room.
He said it was the "old star wars with vector monitor", my heart sank, i said "i'll pop round at dinner".
I went round and there it was in all its glory shining like a light from...
well you know the feeling

"The monitor is not working, if i remember correctly there are 2 transistors blown" "the game works though"
"Great, i will take it" i said, i left a deposit and i was going to pick it up Friday so it gave me time to persuade the missus to let me have it in the house, i couldn't wait though
"q*bert will have to go, i'm not turning the living room into an arcade!!!" she says
"fair enough, martins picking 2 machines up tomorrow so i will take the one out the garage to work and put q*bert in our garage" (q*berts my mame machine, not a real one).
"ok, don't expect me to help either, i'm going round to see the girls"
"ok love, no problem"
(we were supposed to be having a night in tonight so i'll have to make it up to her
)
Guys lost the keys but sure he has them, he has had it for about 15 years and it's been in his garage for a number of years, very clean and dry one mind, he has the cockpit version which he is keeping.
£200 i paid for it.
Very dusty, can't wait to clean it, gotta get this other cab in the garage though and the donkey kong cab out the garage for martin so will be a while before i can clean this up.
