i don't know what monitor is in it yet,,,,, waiting for the keys as he still has them but does not know where, is there anything i should do before switching it on or should i just strip it and send the parts off for service and repair? (without switching it on).

Think i am best not breaking the locks off in case i damage the cab, unless i can remove the locks via the front drop down panel, will take a look at the weekend.

Still waiting to hear on the other cabs too as he is unsure if they will still be available or if his ex has got rid so to speak.

This cab will NOT be sold, never have the opportunity to have one of these again, not at that price anyway and i'm very surprised i have it, unbelievable, cannot stop looking at it every time i enter the room

Thanks for the comments, yes i can't wait to get it working, get rid of those rusty bolts etc, give it a darn good clean this weekend AND find out what monitor is in it.

That burn mark is tiny.... and pretty much factory fitted, lol !!!

The monitor alone is worth £200 !! So is the control yoke if its not too ratty !! So is the board set !! So is the cab shell !!

Bargain of the year..... :)

With some patience, you will soon be using the force !!

Hang on a minute.... you are 10 minutes from me , I'm in Irby !!!

Cheers, Col

Wow...nice find, looks like it has some damp inside and rust, easily fixed.
Colin is very good indeed at Vector monitors..you may be lucky and it is just the Chassis transisitors, but worth changing and upgrading all 6. LV2000 could be done to prevent low-voltage failure.

I got my SW as a bargain too, and currently fixing 3x vector machines, so be very interested to see your progress. You are so lucky to be near Colin!

Good luck!
Cheers,
DaveO.
