Theres so much choice and options as of late it can be a mindfield for newbie light gunners.at the mo ive stayed away from it as have other projects .mums fella jumped in with both feet with out shopping about last year and purchased a sinden.he hasnt got a clue.been sat in a box off and on for a while now,i end up calibrating etc for him most of the time.think he wanted true plug & play but was overtaken by the eye candy!he may get fed up of it soon and sell it .......to me!also seen some really epic Gun4IR mods from nice looking nerf guns etc.if youve got the know how as mentioned by Mr Matt,Gun4IR is a good way to go,plus the coolness factor!

From what I gather these options are accurate enough though. After past disappointments I think I want to see someone quick aim>shoot through Point Blank Insane on a big screen before I truly believe them.

I really miss the 50" Point Blank DX they had in the arcade round here.

Hey, so I was looking online to see if I could find anyone else who's done 1cc attempts of point blank using a PC lightgun and came across this thread. Seems like I'm the only person who's uploaded any attempts of the higher difficulties to Youtube (non-CRT) unless there are other videos that I just haven't found yet.

I actually have managed to 1CC Point blank 1 and 2 on their hardest difficulties w/Gun4IR so I can definitely say that they are high quality and on-par with Guncon and CRT guns. Here are links to them if you wanna check them out:

I have beaten PB3 and PBX on Expert but I'm still not good enough to no continue them on insane yet lol. And yes I definitely agree with your complaints on reviewers showing the "accuracy" of guns while having a crosshair on screen. Like, that literally doesn't show anything... If I wanted to play these games using a crosshair I would just have stuck with an Aimtrack or play them on wii. The reason why people pay hundreds of dollars for these is to have the line-of-sight aiming that you would get with the OG arcade CRT guns - not a glorified wiiremote.

In the 50" RP cab we had on the pier it's one of the best games ever. I've played the standard 🐛 cab but it leaves me wanting a lot more inches.

I usually find time crisis and House of the deads at the arcades I've been too but have yet to find a PB cabinet yet :( Had to settle for making my own in my basement haha

Used to be able to 1cc in arcades back in day,one of my locals use to have this ib the tap side of the pub,everyone watching me,nerves & sweat!then when the arcades dissapeared and pub changed to an indian restaurant, it was ps1 point blank for me.G-CON45 forever!!
