3rd March Essex meet @ mine?

More like a mini meet as you can't get as many people or machines in my garage as you can at Rav's place, but all are welcome at mine anyone from on here, we meet up at Si's last weekend and i really enjoyed meeting more arcade heads wanna keep it going each month anyone interested, not 100% on date yet but have posted on here and j+ to ask people which date they can do, would love someone techie to bring a fluke and show us newer people how to rock, paulcan692012-02-10 10:41:04

ahh, no worries, Im coming back on the 25th/26th. I come back to the homeland quite often tho

so will try and catch the next one, looking forward to meeting up with a few more arcade geeks collectors.

(I'm not gonna invite any of my mates over as they are not arcade crazy like us I thought we'd keep it arcade heads only! - Well you can bring someone who's not if they don't mind us going on about it all night)

Come on who else, lets make it more, I haven't got a massive house at all but all are welcome we can order Domino's but I'm sure like at Si's we can fire up a bit of food/treats.

Or if arcade's not your thing you can watch movies with my mrs (although she does have a go when people are over and at arcade games

) or bring your mrs to keep mine company

And are we all good for 3rd March (Saturday) you can stay till very late/early whichever way you look at it, I have no kids yet so nobody to disturb.

You can crash but nightime sleeping space is filling up fast.

There are some good pub/hotels in town, it's only a small town so you could walk back into town or £4 in a taxi would get you to your room.

Cabs/Boards:-

Electrocoin Duet 2 player 6 button jamma cab, good for Golden Axe/Shinobi and SF2 etc...

MK2 cab with a choice of MK1 or MK2 (both boards inside)

Golden Tee 2002 Supreme edition

Goliath MK1 used as a vert cab, 1 player 3 button

Taito mini style no marquee (hopefully can get monitor working ok in time) 2 player 3 button vert and horiz (easy to change in 5 mins)

Point Blank 1

Ridge Racer deluxe cab (6 gears and clutch)

Rave Racer (twin driver)

Arkanoid in little subelectro style cab (can play Arkanoid 2 in it also)

Atari A.P.B dedicated cab.

60-70 Jamma boards to go in.

Various test gear so scope, probe, rom burners/erasers, meters etc... + tube rejuvinator (not sure what tube sockets I have though, not tested it yet) so maybe even a slight "tech meet" for anyone who's interested, although I can't be teaching anything, would need a tech guru to attend to show us a trick or two.

B.T.W I'm thinking all day into the night so like 9am/10am whatever till whenever...?

Mark (Retroclinic) has shown an interest to come over that day/night as he's an Essex lad, he's the Sega repair guru. (Sure you all know that, he's one of the only few who will repair Outrun for you)

Maybe if I ask him nicely he can get my original Wonderboy running for the evening.

It was working only a week or two ago.

(Or one of you excellent people could help us?)

I have tools but not Fluke (or any idea how to use a Fluke)

To add to the line up I have a Taito cocktail table indoors now (vert monitor)

And thanks to Andrewberwick06 looks like we have a Paschislo (These are cool)

"Battle Caesar" look it up, has a little lcd screen which interacts with your game!

Might have to remove the little Taito trimline style cab as I think the green gun is gone in that monitor...!

I might have a good tube though! We shall see what time we have!
