If anyone has a Capcom classic adapter they could bring I have only 1 adapter.

But Commando and Gunsmoke both use it...

(both go in the same cab so won't be on at the same time)

But if I can get my last faulty cab running ok then Ghosts and Goblins could go in that and I wouldn't have enough adapters.

Just a thought if we could borrow it until whoever leaves that would be cool.

Right here's a vid:

Also a taito cocktail table inside with a 60 in 1 although not quite finished monitor pic is small monitor needs a wee fix (maybe some caps) also joysticks a bit loose, it's not for me so once done that will go the my other half's uncle so not so bothered about that yet.

Also taito mini upright which I will "try" to go working and we will stick that outside as the smokers cab

hopefully I can get that fixed no promises though, and hopefully it won't rain!!!

(Mini marquee needed really to house it)

Well enjoy the vid hopefully it will make you wanna come over for a session.

Other boards can be changed over in the jamma cabs.

Be good to see ya all.

Shame Rav you know you'd be welcome, thanks for the times I've been to yours.

Enjoy the pins and yes please to pics.

I found a guy in my town (about 9 ish moths ago) who lives 3 mins away and had 100 ish pinballs in his back garden, (In multiple sheds joined together) I got a Galaxian boot from him, he was trying to sell me a Robocop pin fully working for £400 which sounded good, I don't think he'd sell it that cheap anymore due to the recent price increase in pins.

He had sold a lot of them but still has a good 25-30!!!

He showed me pics of them all, even had some brand new ones.

He even had some dogems it his garden at one point, funny as fu*k.

Need to hook up with him again he may have more for sale?

I always meant to ring him again nice guy, he sold Ace' a load of boards years ago.

Small world.

Just to say thanks to Paul and Jo, for having us all round. It was nice to met a few of you too. Here are some pics I took. Not as many as I should have, but I was too busy playing the games.

YO! Just wanted to say thanks Paul, I had a super time and great to see your collection! Was also really great to meet and chat to everyone, especially enjoyed hearing about peoples collections, what they've owned, what they now own, and all the Pole Position cabinets they've smashed up along the way ;O) I'm definitely up for the South Slam so, if you've going to that yourself I look forward to another catch up!

Just to add my thanks to Paul and Jo for opening up their house to us reprobates for a great weekend and for masses of Pizza that kept us all going! As per usual I managed to not speak to everyone or catch everyone's names, but at least I've got some new faces in my memory for the next meet. It was a great mix of old and new at the meet, was truly great to chew the arcade cud again! Finally many thanks to Kdoe for dropping me back home at 1am, saving me a few quid!

Cheers

Dan

Just wanted to say thanks for coming over to all you guys it was a good laugh, and for all the kind words said in this thread on both this forum and Jamma+

Some of you had a bit of a drive too so ta for making the effort!

Sorry some of you couldn't stay for long/longer but thanks for still making it.

It was great to meet you all new and old, it was nice to see the machines getting used and hammered by people who love playing these old games.

Sorry if I seemed a bit distant to any of you I didn't mean to be...but it was a bit like "party host syndrome" where you run around worrying that people are ok having a good time, feed and watered, also I was swapping boards here and there or trying to keep the odd one working it just made it a bit harder to relax, I got better as the day went on.

Whenever I'm on my own in the garage the games get a good thrashing, however whenever others come over I never seem to play on them much, I think I could count on one hand the number of go's I had on Saturday, instead the enjoyment lies in watching people use the games I spent hours on keeping alive and well.

Big thanks from me to my other half as without her I wouldn't have been able to keep you all feed and watered, and she thanks you for all the kind words and about her cooking of cake skills.

I understand that her toffee cakes will now be my only entry currency to any further meets.

I was amazed at the skill level of all of you, we all seem to love these games so much that naturally good scores started coming out very quickly, even if the game had not been played by you for a number of years.

Karl and Andy C are just too damn good at R-type.

And thanks to the track and field session I've learnt a few new tricks.

Well done Phil for picking a little gem of a Chinese resturant that I'd never been to in my own home town (he'd been there before)

I had never gone in probably because it looked like such a dive from outside, however it served awesome food! Well you know how it goes "Never judge a book.....yadda yadda!" So true that saying.

Sorry we didn't get more board testing and diag time, would have loved to look at Roger's Robocop 2 board with a eprom programmer to see if we could have got it running properly, maybe we should do a 'fix what we brung' meet next time?

Smidsy cheers for taking a few picks nice!

Beaps thanks so much for the kind present of the chair/stool that's really good of you.

Si thanks for picking up the pizzas on the way over.

Hopefully I'll see some of you again for local hook up's and maybe at the 'South Coast Slam' in April.

Cheers guys and your more than welcome to call in anytime your passing through!

I'm gonna sign off as a 90's rapper and say....

Peace out!
