cheers
i think the problem for me is that i am unlikely to spend more than 18k on a car, i don't do lease cars and have only ever purchased cars outright, so the EV market is probably not suitable for me when i'm not willing to spend that much on a car in the first place
18k

I don't like spending more than 2k

though I would of happily spent 16k on a NSX years ago before having house extended but with no garage I didn't bother
My daily driver was £175 with knackered engine, Civic was £250 which I used for 3 months till MOT up, took engine out and put in HRV, sold the civic parts so neither car ended up costing anything and it's probably worth £1000+ now but I like simple easy to repair yourself cars but it's still nice to drive and has everything I want
Problem with EV is the more people start getting them and i'm noticing more on the road all of a sudden, probably because they had to offer better deals and more getting older but you can be sure that soon as more have them the Government aren't going to want to loose millions in Fuel Duty so it won't be long before they slap on some sort of charge to rake in what they're loosing
Couple of years ago there were signs on M6 near J4a saying New Digital Motorway coming soon, but seems after the woman whose husband was killed on the "smart" motorway because you can't pull out of live lane in many cases was campaigning, the signs for Digital Motorway disappeared, you can be sure that Digital Motorway was going to be pay per mile
Cracks me up when driving on M6 where they drop speed limit to 60mph for Climate Hoax "Clean Air" and you have permanent 60mph on M5 Junc 1-2 for same, yet EV's still have to drive at same speed as all the ICE cars
