The seller isn't a dick, he's just had bad experiences (not my story to tell) and is both super cautious and also is running a business, etc.

Obviously it is not me, heh ... but ... after speaking to them ... I get their perspective. I still think that the listed prices are high ... but then ... that's eBay, y'know? It's crazy how it undulates ...

To be honest ..
I think he could see the sale through eBay not working ,

Like finding out that parts are missing ..
Either he didn’t notice
Or dosent give a toss .

He told me that he was sure he had the marquee and had looked for it but couldn’t find it ..

At 270£ a cab these are just scruffy cabs that need work .

I feel that he felt through eBay any sale would end bad

Just come across this. Guy's name is John. In January 2025 I purchased an MVS U5 of him on ebay. I made a thread about it. I heard nothing back from him at all. Text, email, ebay. Nothing. Eventually I got a refund off ebay. This is despite several people on here saying they got machines off him in the past. Was a real pain to deal with but they got their cabs. This week, almost 2 years after my failed purchase, John contacts me on ebay about the U4. Asking where it is as he is missing one machine. I tell him I never got the cab and it got cancelled so I have no idea where the U4 went. It was all very polite but very strange to have someone 20 months later ask about a failed ebay sale. He say's he has no idea what has gone on but is looking to track the machine down. It was all very bizarre. I don't think he is a scammer but proceed with a lot of care.

Sold many cabs here and japanarama on instagram .

Many happy customers.
inevitably things don’t always go smoothly ..

Mainly I think because importing many cabs from Japan ..

From what I see ..
You could back then get A or B grade from your Japan contact .

B grade could be good just some cosmetic ..

But could also be not good ..
Like issues like the jap guys would just chuck a monitor into the cab ..
Maybe with a chasiss but not even connected or working..

So for the importer you wouls
Do your best to make up as many workers as possible ..

Then with your left overs you would put them to use making good your next shipment . And so on and so fourth .

So after six years picking from a importer from secerals
Years gone buy I wa sunder no illusions from either the seller of the images I could judge . I did my
Best to look over the cabs when I arrived to load up ..

And once I make the choice to go
My mind is made up.

Have in hingne sight taken more time to check everything ..
Did notice obviously th missing marquee on one noir but the door slipped passed me ..


The net city has no chasiss inside also ..
Bummer but again..
I was not expecting a working cab.

If I had more time I could make a door but I'm swamped with jobs
Been making brackets to hang RC cars out the way from some free metal, alterations to the SR3, adding to my parts spraying frame, sandblasting a load of parts to paint which I need to get done asap and I've just created myself more work buying something else I need to pickup next week, the Noir still in the car so I'm inside moving stuff and tidying up typical the weather is better than last 2 days. I should do a lot more of but it's boring and stuff just gets moved from A to B to C back to A again, need more time to sell things too, I've got a project grabber i started years back was getting there till I altered the coin board voltage source and turned out if was varying as bulb was changing brightness now it doesn't register coins and the credit/time display board doesnt display properly and I've now got it stuck in demo test mode where it won't stop and display for the mission/Premier cranes i used to put in this sellers on ebay wanted £70+ for :rolleyes: just 4 digital led display with a IC, if its that faulty so I probably should have sold these internals and used others, made custom bits for it and loads of work altering this old plastic cabinet which I started because it was a shame to scrap it and I couldn't get rid of it
if I stop now I've wasted too much time but its in the way of the Noir as I need to put that there now, I do cause myself some work thats for sure so it either needs finishing or scrapping, then I buy another machine for spares for one I have I need to get working, so then what I do with that I don't know
Gonna have to make some decisions or work a lot faster :LOL:
