Martin has been mad busy as I had attempted to call and text him this week,

however he called me this morning and is adding my stuff to the travel routing

He was really friendly, bubbly and nice about things.

Just patience really as the number of jobs he has is unreal lol

Sometimes its not about the number of jobs, its the distance as they are so widely spread!

Hi Guys, a massive thank you for the support above, it's really appreciated...

Anj took the time on J+ to make some negative comments about me back in July, so not a recent complaint.

It appears he spoke to me on the phone while I was driving and following my request, he was to text me a post code. He judged me to have not responded in a timely manner and I received some feedback.

This was my response to his feedback below and his response back.

I read in my feedback thread that you are not impressed that I appear not to have got back to you!

Can you clarify this statement as I don't appear to have missed a PM, voicemail or text message.

He clearly had an issue but choose to update my feedback thread, but didn't bother to chase me for a response or even to check his text had arrived.

While people sit at home or at a desk at work, it seems that a simple response should be forth coming within a few minutes and they don't appreciate I may drive for 5 hours non stop in pursuit of your delivery requests. I do at times find it increasingly difficult to respond via text or PM and having been on the road for 12 hours plus, sometimes 20 hours and on arrival home just fall into bed.

While driving I do usually answer the calls or call back, but if anyone is serious about wanting something doing, they will and I would encourage them to call me and a back up text or pm with any details of jobs required.

Back on his title topic: www.shiply.com is a good way to find a cheap courier and a good one too, after all that's how the community found me. Thanks Danny, my marriage, knee, back and shoulder problems are all your fault.

Thanks for responding to this Martin. And I don't want to start any rumours but Arv Anj hasn't been on the forum since his initial post - you've not picked up any body-sized rolls of carpet from the Midlands recently have you?

It's Anj not Arv, but no recent requests, although a few years ago I was asked by a courier company in Sheffield to take a box to Heathrow airport, with a PS on the end: Box contains a dead body.........some geezer had kippered it over here and was to be flown home to his birth place for burial.

Now that's a text message I chose not to respond too!

ok , all i can say about martin is he has let me down 3 times , i own my own van and i do a lot of my moving my self , just some times i cannot collect stuff , i have other commitments , i was not trying to get a defend martin thread going , and yea he has helped a lot of you guys , but not me , and i dont want to use him , this is why im looking for other company to use , as for me not loging in i am using 3g web and its useless ,

i have booked Hadfields to do the job , i started this thread after trying martin again and getting no joy , and "useless" was a bit harsh , but my experience with him is poor at best
