Surely flipping is a hardware logic switch to set the video counters to count backwards, rather than a software feature? It’s all discrete logic for Double Dragon.
If it corrupts when switch is flipped then patching the Roms won't make any difference I am afraid as patching could just bypass the switch. It sounds like some of the inverted display is handled by hardware which is faulty.jizzfu said:i recovered the broken trace and if i turn on the n.8 the image is corrupted
GadgetFreak said:I have another 9 dedicated games with High Score Saves, 1 with a screen flip, 2 with fixed mistakes, CPS1 GAL equations reworked to reduce temperature and all the M92 games have revised jumper info.
But am not sure if I will release it as people seem happy to use it and not donate, even the simple patches take a few hours to sort and the CPS1 games take many hours to patch for any C board let alone Pang3 conversions that need extensive rework for the GFX & GAL.
I already did all the CPS1 that I was slightly interested in and seeing boards up for sale at much high prices that have been converted using my patches with not even a £1 donated is irritating![]()
