Just need to email my Steam profile to them as my Kickstarter icon isn't showing, maybe because I used the Steamid:xxxxx type format on the form.

The game is great fun (Not just saying that for obvious reasons)..
It is better playing Co-Op TBH as I found whilst playing alone did spend too much time running around like a headless chicken looking for keys to open the doors, but my directional skills are pretty shyte to be honest.

The bloody moans & groans of Zombies when you are on ya own in the dark is really atmospheric too..

If you find any faults or have any positive input to improve the game, please put them to me, and I will forward them to my lad.

Regards

Tony

Played a bit more over the last few nights and really liking it.
That prison escape map is hard if you don't know where you're going , only been on it a couple of times so far, need to get some practise in/on it, hehe.

Few nights ago on the Aurora estates map, I barricaded myself into a house , plenty of guns etc, but when they start battering the doors down and you're not sure which way they're coming in, it really does up the tension, feels like being in a zombie movie, great fun!

Couple of minor graphical issues I've noticed :
i)lights and shadows sometimes being visible through walls from the inside (so if inside a house for example I'll sometimes see an external light), but more so on shadows, you can tell sometimes if there's someone outside a door or wall as their shadow will be visible on the wall(s)/ceiling (if in basement for example..)

ii)A few times I've noticed if using 'zombie vision' so it's got the red view to the screen, sections as I turn will go black and then back to normal (I've took a screenie but need to check it against in game to see if it's showing the same)

One thing I would ask about is if there's any work planned to make the various sounds more localised?

At the moment it seems like I'm hearing quite a lot of sounds 'nearby' and loud that aren't actually anywhere in the vicinity, or muffled based on what's in the way (sound occlusion? is that the correct term?)
Overall tho having great fun with it, and to say it's a early beta build, it puts a lot of 'complete' games to shame!

Oh, and something I only noticed last night, I think if theres a zombie behind a door it won't let you use the nailgun to barricade it (the planks turn red instead of white), although I couldn't hear them bashing at it at the time, they soon started.

No probs mate, I was planning on PM'ing you about it today anyway, rather than pestering them in the first instance, in case they already were 'on it',
If they want any testing/screenies/examples etc done showing it let me know and I'll be glad to help, especially as it could just be on a particular setup/settings combination etc.

My Lads just spent yesterday putting a "HALLOWEEN" theme into the game
smiley36.gif

I'm finding new stuff everytime I play it..

My lad has told me of a few nice tricks as well...

I told him I want a few "flamable" Items that can explode & set fire to things too

Saw a few of those Halloween goodies earlier tonight (I saw on the update news that they/he had added some), looks good outside the houses with lanterns etc

Come on then, spill the beans on the tricks!
I had a "whoops" moment (ironic after me saying the grenade didn't do much damage way back on 1st play in the park map). Playing "Hunted" (as I mostly do..), heard another human in the house, so I waited in a room with door closed until I heard them opening other nearby doors, opened mine, they fired,I'd dodged back out of line, threw grenade into the hallway where they were, closed my door...
<BOOM>, grenade goes off, kills them, blows the door apart and kills me too...oh I did laugh!

Having great fun as a zombie , getting a 'horde' following me using the roar, they make short work of doors and barricades, just wish I could get them to climb ladders into lofts ahead of me!

If it's not already obvious I'm really enjoying it, tell your lad he's (and the rest of the dev team) doing a great job so far. Had some really good games the last couple of nights as more and more people are playing.

Ha ha ..
I blew myself up too, coz you told me the grenade was weak..I threw it down out of the attic and it killed a sh*t loads of Zombies below but the blow back killed me too...

When I say tricks I mean a few key presses that I didnt know about
smiley9.gif
..

R = ROAR as you have used it

C= turn yaself into AI Zombie (Useful when Zombies are fighting Zombies..

The mobile phone beeping giving you an idea where ppl are (Yes I didn't even know that
smiley9.gif
)

My lad told me that The Houses that are lit have ammo & stuff in..

I spent ages running around trying to open random doors..(DH!!)

Also that sometimes ammo cant be seen until you are really close to it.

Overall The tension is unbelievable, especially when your hiding in a dark room waiting for someone to walk into the room & the feckers come in through the window !!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHH!!!!!!!

Ah, yeh, found/know all those mate. Haven't used the AI zombie mode much , I prefer to try and blend in myself (and it helps with spotting player controlled zombies if you know how *you* try to play as a zombie!

I'm starting to use the phone more now, deliberately trying to connect to someone nearby so it buzzes their phone and you can hear if there really close... sneaky, hehe

I did the random doors thing for the first few games as well. I really like the "under construction" house where you've got to rely on a flashlight to see well (but then it gives away your position to other humans...)

and that Piñata at the party house, just can't resist hitting it as you pass, much fun to be had getting a horde under your control and then getting them to swipe at it... I've got a few screenies of that , LOL

They've really done a good job on the tension front, being holed up in a room (attic especially) constantly checking for zombies or other humans, then hearing the doors , windows etc getting hammered, even when you've got plenty of ammo it's really good at creating that "here we go..." feeling

My lad is busy on a Huge Map ATM..
I still want explosions & Fire tho...Must be a November thing..
smiley36.gif

I just feel that there is a lot more to give....as they say..

If I play the Hunted Game (every Human/Zombie) for themselves, and the humans camp, i end up running around like a ...well,,,Zombie..I get frustrated then and I seem to get bored as I seem to be running around....lost..

I suggested that there should be summit like a "Pointer" to give you at least a Hint/Clue where these campers are...camping...OR IS IT JUST ME ???
smiley9.gif

My lad tells me to follow the Ai Zombies as they will lead you to them...

I Still find myself lost..
smiley11.gif

I am losing sleep over this bloody game tho...3.20am to bed last night & 3ish the night b4
