Hi guys.

Sorry for the confusing post the other day. I was trying to upload a photo from my phone but it wouldn't rotate. I decided to delete it and upload from a computer. But I couldn't work out how to delete the post (how good are my technical skills?), so I just removed the content.

I'm now back in the UK with the post-holiday blues, but...

I got 583,600!

This is my new high score.

I got it in Barcade in Manhattan, NY whilst a storm was raging outside (dramatic).

Wes Copeland has the high score in that place at 692K. Would've been so good to beat that. But I'm still happy with this.

EDIT - I still can't rotate it LOL!

It's about 381,000

Initials are "NRG"

I don't know who that is but obviously a decent player.

I tried really hard to knock it off the top but most I got was 355,000. I need to get some more practice in.

There's a young guy just started playing Donkey Kong in the USA. Young Jackson, 8 years old - 148,100! Pretty amazing!

Thanks, I hope so.

I'm wondering if I can really step up my game any more, or that I just have to play more so I can get a "nice" run without bad luck or a stupid mistake.

My best score on my 1st guy is 275k, so this theoretically means I could make a kill screen on a very good day. But this game punishes you so bad sometimes

You will always make ' stupid mistakes ' as will everybody else. Mistakes are normally caused be pressure and when playing Donkey Kong sometimes it doesn't matter what you do, you're going to die

Sure, if you're playing regular scores around where you're at right now, a KS is well within your ability.

Good luck, the more time you put in the better your results will be.

I'm aiming to get 100K by the end of the year... great to see all these top scores on here... I'm only at 30K though after a few plays this week!

Cheers, well I know how to pass the elevators now, yet I still mess up occasionally, I think it's mainly the barrel boards with unpredictable patterns and wild barrels that get me the most
