Wow, I am impressed you got it put together so quickly, you have had 2 cabs from me, hot rod & now this & both in a jigsaw state

Absolutely over the moon it's all working, I had no reason to doubt it never but as you know its been sat in pieces for nearly 1.5 years, only thing I did mean to ask you is, were the keys anywhere in the base section?? if not they are around somewhere but I have literally cabs all over the place but when they turn up I will give you a shout

Martin gave me plenty of warning so I made sure there was space to work on it, and was very lucky that tb2000 was able to come over for the entire afternoon and evening on the day - there's absolutely no way I'd have been able to put it together on my own! It's where being self employed has its benefits, I was able to take most of the day off.
I'll be honest, I did spend quite a lot of time reading the manual to familiarise myself with how it was put together, but it was still pretty scary seeing the pile of random bits in the garage once Martin left

Definitely no keys so if you do find them I'd be grateful as it's still got all those nice original jap locks which would be good to keep on there

haha Well at least you know why I couldn't easily assemble it myself to test lol

I thought the keys were in the coin box but 1.5 years is a long time to remember, I was gutted when they were not there, don't change the locks or anything, the keys will turn up I'm sure, I did mean to pass the message on via Martin but we had some pinballs to take off before your Outrun could go on so it slipped my mind.

Looking forward to seeing it with the badge & some sort of rear lenses

very nice. all we need now is like a video walk through... =)
That will come but not for a while, the mains supply still needs to be upgraded before I can turn everything on at once. Even with just OutRun going the lights dim when the cab moves

That looks lovely mate.

One of the most iconic cabs of the 80's, I'm surprised Indy sold it!

Looking forward to the vid showing it in action.

the normale upright outrun is good, but not good as this!!! so it would be the same, use a sega naomi upright uni driving cab with outrun2 in it... less fun... yours max fun!!!
