Realised I'd not done a post about this cab yet, it's been in my garage a
good few months but had various things to sort out on it. Finally got
it completely together today so thought I'd take a few pics.

I
can't believe this is my SECOND dedicated Juno First cab, I'm fairly
sure there are only 3 or 4 in the country, 2 of which I've owned now.
It's such a good game and a really cool cab and one of the few I've
really regretted selling so was very pleased to get another chance at
one in a deal for some other kit. It's funny how this one plays quite a
lot differently than the one I had from the arcade barn (now with RGP), it's all a bit tighter
on the stick I think.

It's a good clean and solid cab and didn't
really need much doing. I gave it a bit of a touch up on the paintwork,
had a new bezel made as the original one was completely wrecked,
cleaned up the cpo & back panel with novus and had the monitor
chassis serviced.

....Oh and the original tube replaced.....just a little bit of burn

Yes that is off

And
a much nicer replacement fitted. Big thanks to tb2000 for finding a me
better tube, and giving the monitor the once over, and then fixing the
pcb running in it now

The new bezel up close.

All
the gubbins on the back door. The cab was having some control panel
issues - all related to the pointless filter board on the back door
making bad connections.

And here's the whole cab.

It looks awesome in the dark.

It's a great game, there's quite a few 'must have' Gottlieb cabinets (I know this game is licensed from Konami), it's a shame not many Gottliebs are about anymore ]:(]

A great game - only seems like it has been getting recognition in the last few years but i always played it to death back when i was a kid.

One day i will open the wallet and throw enough money around to tempt one into my poses ion but i would be lucky to get as nice a one as this...

It seems to have gained a lot of popularity through the forums recently - I had never heard of it until it was in the high score competition line up at the Arcade Barn a few years ago and so I had to give it a go. After a couple of credits I was hooked, and I think most people who play it find the same!

That's a very special machine and it's seems it's done the rounds and is a favourite amongst collectors .
It's certainly one of mine
Great game and lovely cab

It's one of the games I wish they'd included on the Konami 80s classics, along with Frogger, rather than Yie Ar and the rubbish Road Fighter.

They could have shoved Rescue on there too. Harumph!

EDIT - Spelling - oh lord!

If it was on that classics board I'd most likely have it running in this cab as it's got all my favourites on there - and that includes Road Fighter
