How to Jamma convert a Sega Dinosaur King

One for accepted and one for rejected coins?

To this day I still don't understand why the dino kings have 2x coin meters, one that's 5v and the other that's 12v.
Was one for coins and the other for tickets dispensed?

The 12v meter was for coins in (connected directly to the Excel credit board on the coin door) and the 5v meter was for dispensed cards out (via ground wire connected to the game pcb).qjuk2019-03-12 19:23:53

qjuk and Flinnster, big thanks, the instructions are perfect, coin door and coin counter work perfectly!


When I insert £1, it registers 10 credits on the coin counter, I assume that's set to have 10p per unit? It's all working perfectly though. I did seem to have 1 spare blue wire which was next to the yellow 12v on the 8 way connector, which yo didn't have on your diagram. I've just left that, it's not done anything.
