I saw a Metro (maybe D reg) in the wild the other day I honestly haven't seen one in over a decade prior.
It was zipping around a roundabout & had a couple of youngsters in it.

There's a few classics I'd love to own, but unfortunately my garage has been converted to a bedroom. Might convert it back at some point but more likely to knock the house down and start again.

If I hadn't wasted loads of money out drinking and nightclubs every weekend for years I could have bought the land next to my house and had me a double or triple garage, really wanted something with double garage but I wanted Detached house too and couldn't afford both
Clean the throttle body , will likely have crap in it

Could well be, trouble is it doesn't get used regular like it did, I think last time it went out was when I collected Window, that must be 4 weeks ago.

My CRX sits over winter, it starts instantly and when it warms up the revs start dropping until it cuts out, then it will not restart, didn't know where to start with it, reading a few things I decided to go with basics, took spark plugs out, look fine and were fine when last ran okay, cleaned them and put back in, started straight away and runs perfect. last summer it only sat few months and I drove over to my brothers, couple of miles away and it started hesitating, got to his and when I left a few hours later fine all way home, cleaned plugs next day fine again

Maybe the Iridium plugs I should try, annoyingly I let the other crx go and it had them in it already, should have took them out

No self respecting car thief ever stole a metro 😁
True, although one of these would be worth a joyride, to be fair.

One on eBay for £300k

Group B was a fiddle, the cars were at best a silhouette of the production cars they were supposedly based on.

Hell of a thing to watch though , not surprised they pulled the plug

The 2nd episode the Beetle, guy just had no job but it was just starting then so its fine with that one, they just got worse cases as they went on, some real sad ones though like the Lancia Delta Integrale

Forget which car it was now but, one they found paper and wood I think and wheel arch liners made from some old folders and his wife says, that wouldn't have been my husband, sure the guy at end said I'd done most of the work for ya or maybe another one, some real cringe moments though lol

There was a retired Dentist, can't remember the car. Nice old guy but you just think looking at the house, you're not really in need....

Yeah, The Datsun 240z Retired GP

You could have nice house and be broke, GP's are not usually broke as I was fixing printer under warranty for one in the 90s and he said if I could get it done quicker he'd give me a fiver, reason he needed to get off was he didn't want to be late for his Flying Lesson , sometimes it doesn't matter too much because it's great the car got restored else probably sit and rot

Pretty sure this was a dentist, but could be wrong. Just not convinced that repairing someones car because they couldn't be arsed to pay someone to do it makes good TV. The gut wrenching ones are where they die before or shortly after the car is finished.

I can 200 miles or so for about £3 on a home charge. More like £35 if charging on the motorway at a high speed unit. It has a one pedal drive mode that makes it like a giant bumper car.
i need to go back to this, what kind of tariff are you on that you can charge your car for £3, sounds like a bit of a fib

anyway, my EV charger got installed today at home, so charging is slightly cheaper and a lot slower, but it will save us money in the long run, the tariffs that the electric companies are great, you are just being charged a fortune to do anything during the day, so it all evens out unless you like sitting in the dark with nothing on all day
