Few decent games lately 918,400 and 1,035,850 Scene 80
Been studying a 9.5 million game (file is a mame inp) Mr Do! on Marp trying to learn where i am going wrong.
Scene PB is now 80.
Onwards to Scene 100, Will that be 1.5 Million?

I never got the chance to get properly acquainted with Mr Do back in the day. Only ever saw it a couple of times out in the wild. But I added it to my vertical Mame cab recently, and am slowly getting addicted. Bright colours, great sounds and (relatively) free-form action - what's not to love? In fact, it was Mr Do that inspired me to get my new Magstikplus from Ultimarc. The easy switch to 4-way mode makes a real difference. I'll definitely check out your links, and see what I can achieve over the Xmas hols. Managed 100K the other night, so it's got to be 200K or nothing!

Dont give up, just keep plugging away, you can do it.
I get that blue chomper apple bug all the time, it seems to be a glitch in the game.
It seems that there are several different "offset" positions that you can push an apple into.
Try pushing the apple a couple of pixels further when offsetting, that may help stop that glitch.
I find that pushing the apple approx 1/4 of a cherrries width (3-4mm) seems to work ok.
Practice on scene 1 with apple positions until you find the "correct" positioning, you'll get it in no time.
And if you do get the bug, take advantage of the situation, you can tidy up while the chompers are "stuck". You can clear the red guys if you had more than 1 chasing you. Or you could just have a brief rest and make a rose or 2
Mr. Do! has a lot of quirks / glitches - use them, they can come in handy.

Is that magstikplus any good? I use JLW's set to 4-way on my cab, and also on my x-arcade dualstick.
All the play on my Twitch channel is from MAME, haven't got a webcam for cab as yet.
And my cab has a 60-in-1 pcb which runs an older version of mame which looks pretty bad, the graphics are nothing like more modern versions of mame.
A genuine Mr Do! pcb looks best of all, sadly not got one yet. One day I'll get one....

Hey Guys. I was playing Mr Do! on Twitch the other day and this guy called Dazzer_ appears in my chat
I was too busy playing Mr Do! to really think who that was at the time.
Next day I was thinking "I know that name from somewhere". Its from here Dazzer is top score on Mr Do on MARP
So I added him to my Followed list and hoped he would pop in my chat again sometime to give some tips.
Last night Dazzer_ shows up as broadcasting live on Twitch.
I had to see what he was up to so I logged into his channel.
All I can say is wow, that guy is a Mr Do! GENIUS. Total ownage of the game. He tied them monsters in knots and made the game look stupidly easy.

He said in the chat at about 400k, "I'll get 5 million this game"
And then he proceeded to do just that!

All my struggles to reach 1 million, totally blown away by a REAL PROFESSIONAL.
I thought I would be pissed off to be totally handed my Mr Do! hat, but it was amazing to watch such a great player. Truly humbling experience.
