Ah ok, only if you win Extra Mr. Do! at the same time?

What is the value of doing that over and above killing the letter in the normal way? I don't understand?

It's just another way of getting out of a tight spot Pooman.

And it will score more points than shooting the letters.

3 x blue + Extra Letter = 6000pts if crushed. That adds up over a few scenes to a bunch of points.

The instant you "die" all the monsters freeze in position, they won't munch apples so the falling apple will crush any monster below it. I've had many Extra letters get away so freezing them and killing them is a good trick to know.

The more ways you have of escaping situations, the more chances you'll have to survive.

And you have to be collecting the final Extra letter to make the trick work.

Or you have to kill all the red monsters with the falling apple to survive. If there are red monsters on screen and it's not the last Extra letter you will die.

Study the video examples, especially the youtube one. once you have done the trick a couple of times, you'll get it.

Hey Guys.

Since I did the million, I havent had a single game go over 700k.

It seems I am going backwards, and I rage quit at the slightest error.

Got any tips for reclaiming my mojo?

I took a 2wk break and didnt play at all.

Last game I played I only got 200k.

It doesnt seem to be much fun anymore, and I want that fun back.

How do I break out of this slump?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I often find when I haven't played for a while I have a good game but then I go back to normal straight afterwards, and it takes me another bunch of games to get my score back up.
I had a bit of a break from do recently but I've got back into it again and try to play 1 game every day.

I beat my personal best - 226K which is good for me :)

Sorry to hear you've lost your mojo dude. I guess this happens often in life when you finally hit a long term goal, or reach a target, or get something you've been after for a while.

How about a Do! meet up to teach some of us pretenders how to play? That might give you some motivation back?!pooman20842015-09-10 18:49:32

Hey Guys.

After a long break from Mr Do! I was encouraged to play again by some new players on Twitch

I was helping them in the chat, and finding the Twitch time delay to be a real pain. So I made an Instructional video of sorts on Twitch

Play with comment - tips, tricks and tomfoolery on Mr. Do!

Trying to comment as you play is hard, I have new respect for the guys that do on Twitch.

Video covers Early Tactics, Positional Play, Apple Tactics, and a good many others

scenes 1 thru 10 covered twice over, some higher scene play and a bit of mucking about. Lots of tips and tricks.

I hope its of use to the Mr Do! players here, and maybe a few who wanted to play but didn't know how.

Hey Guys.

Got my 'A' game back, had a great run last night

933,250

Got EXTRA on scene 2, 5 ,7 and 10.

4 EXTRA in 10 scenes is pretty decent going.

200,000 points on 1st man, had 6 EXTRA by 1st death.

Thought I was going to get another million game but wasn't to be.

Still pleased with what I got
