I agree with Stegrey and Guddler, as much as you want it done, I think in the long term it would look better, even in arcade lighting with neons and posters everywhere.

Couldn't agree more - was going to skimp the taping or skimming just to keep the costs down.

But when the plasterboard was all up it still looked a bit like a sheeted workshop.

I was only 250 quid to get the entire thing plastered - considering my overall costs, I was pretty chuffed. And now it looks sorta like part of the house. But only with more arcade cabs

Having my garage plastered after getting it all done made all the difference. Felt much more like a proper room. Well worth it.

Looks and sounds great mate - some lovely arcadey sights and sounds in there - some old, some new. Loving the ARCADE sign and all the decoration.

I recognise that 'opening the door' beginning to the vid too
