Yeah. I realized I didn't pre-tin that one pad after I had already removed the battery. In one section I do show to pre-tin the pad beforehand.
You don't need to use the power-on method but I have done both and prefer this one. Years ago I tried to do the helper battery method and my success rate was only about 50%. I didn't know whether the cart was extra sensitive to the battery voltage when adding a second battery so I just began doing the power-on method. And is has evolved into this over the years. I have only been unsuccessful with one cart in the last two years and it didn't die during the actual swap. It died due to pure stupidity....![]()

Funny story. I've had those wire cutters for years. I actually used them to cut open the cable box where the cable comes into my house so I could install a MoCa filter. I then forget about them outside for about three weeks. I looked all over for those damn things. Then one morning I was taking a leak and I looked out the window and saw them out of the corner of my eye on the porch railing. They were rusty, or course, so I doused them with WD-40 and opened and closed them until they moved freely again. So I refuse to buy a new one until they are useless. lol.
