Breaking Bad is fantastic
And Better Call Saul

Definitely give The Boys a go though. It's not your normal super hero show. It's disgusting, crude, gory and vomit inducing. But in a good way.
I watched the first series of The Boys, it was ok, no idea why so many people think it is great though, turned into a show that was just trying to shock for the sake of it

wish Sopranos was on some UK streaming site that i pay for already, some of the clips i have seen look great

i also got about 3 seasons into the biker gang show(Sons of Anrachy), that was ok but got a bit samey after a while

i liked The Travellers, one of the few shows my and my wife didnt mind wacthing together

special mention to Race Around the World...a gem of a program that is a worth a watch

Infortunatekt Not sure many of the Bruce Lee films come up in the streaming services , for the soecual prints you would want to see. I think they were golden harvest and Warner did enter the dragon. I have not seen that version of game of death so will hunt it down. But I did notice some later decent martial arts films are arriving like the raid , raid 2. Some Tony jaa stuff. I never got on with stuff like crouching tiger. I assume someone has mentioned cobra kai which apart from 1 crap season I have really enjoyed how they have turned the tables. So many films , just not enough time.

I've watched the whple of Breaking Bad 4 times. Plus El Camino.

Best and funniest thing I've ever watched on Netflix 😍🤘

Really good review of The Final Game Of Death on the recent Golden Harvest Arrow boxset. I've yet to buy the Golden Harvest boxset as I have the Shout Factory Legacy and Criteron Bluray boxsets, as well as the Master Collection DVD boxset.

Mr. Inbetween on Disney Plus. A shorter, straight to the point Aussie Breaking Bad with some extra dollops of Tarantino chucked in. Finished it the other day, feeling like it won't be long until I watch it all again.

You want martial arts? What about Story of Riki / Riki - Oh. Going to watch it at the cinema for the first time in December. Can't think of another film where a dog gets kicked in half. Not that that's the main selling point.

Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds. They do a Creatures of the Night special every once in a while so it's not on while 10PM.
That’s a shame, it’s a bit too far for me. It looks like a great venue though. I thoroughly recommend the rerelease of Stop Making Sense that they are currently showing, the concert film of Talking Heads. It’s widely considered to be the high water mark of concert movies from the early 80s. I saw it last weekend and was blown away.

I didn’t know too many of the songs but it brilliantly captures the band at their peak and really showcases every performer and how they contribute to each number. Brilliant stuff.

That's what did it for me. Finally got round to looking up what all the clips were from. Blasted through it in a few days. There's also a film from 2005 called The Magician written by and starring the same guy which introduces the Ray Shoesmith character.

Not to be confused with the 2006 film but 'Ultravoilet' on Channel4 OD (or whatever they call it these days) is a quite thoughtful and mericfully short 6 part series regarding vampires but don't let the latter put you off. It's more of a cop/spy caper with an early but compelling role for Idris Elba and the first episode contains much footage of what I believe is Sega World to boot so of course it's a trip down memory lane for some (cough).

Gotta love Neon Genesis Evangelion and the End of Evangelion love watching it in the 90's:)
Weirdly I missed out on it in the 90s. Maybe it was one of them that was £16 on VHS like Dominican tank Police for 22 minutes worth!? 3x3 Eyes was fantastic, wish I'd kept my VHSs but gave them to the charity shop. Might have said before on some other thread, set the video recorder on long play record Channel 4 at midnight to 6am and see what turns up next morning! Jackie Chan Operation Condor, Urotsukidoji (probably spelt that wrong!), Toxic Avenger. Good times 😍

Above the law/righting wrongs

We had some laughs watching these. I swear I find it hard to get any entertainment out of modern television or cinema, cant even think of anything recent.
Watched Honour and Glory last week, fighting scene at the end with some classic Arcade Cabs, Double Dragon one of em
