Awesome work, wish I had the skills or tools to make things like this.
Too make any cabinet viable for cost you would need to make quite a few off them, I would suggest and hope for a Repro Candy Cabinet like the Capcom Cute or the Neo Geo 19, both are the smaller cabs and are made from Metal.
Also advertise over multiple forums to get enough interest.

Good luck

Thanks from Luke

I have to say the two DMD clock enclosures I received are excellent and one is now proudly mounted in the games cabin.

Question…. can you do a pinball shell, I am thinking of doing a virtual one?

Glad you liked the DMD cases.

If you can get an pinball shell to me I can make an exact copy no problem.

that RPI2DMD is seriously impressive and looks fantastic

have you had any PMs about cabs at all, just curious to see what sort of numbers have been requested so far for any one particular cab as i know you said you would need at least 10 to make it worth doing

Just a thought - would it be possible to do a clone of the Pacman/Invaders Arcade 1UP cab but in thicker Plywood with a slot for T-molding?

Remember a number of years ago, while on holiday in Tenerife the hotel was being renovated and they were using a form of tough fibreboard, approx 18mm thick and faced on both sides. This seemed very strong and was being machine sawn by the fitters. The surprising thing was its lightness. Could easily lift 2, 8x4 sheets of the stuff without too much issue, and no, I'm not built like a brick outhouse.

No idea if it would be useful for cab construction or not, but would have made the cabs so much lighter to move around.

I'm also interested in what other cabinets might be in the works. I'd like a replica Sprint One cabinet but I doubt that would be a very popular choice!

The Quantum cabinets look amazing. Out of interest, are people populating these with the proper guts? I'd think it's very difficult to get the parts (monitor especially) without taking from another machine.
Hello......I am looking (desperately) for a Quantum Arcade cab either original or a remake cabinet. Admittingly I am.brand new to this site and just trying g to reach out to find someone who might be able to point me in the right direction.

Thank You
