Daytona USA Upright – monitor sparking sorted, new video board bought from Hong Kong, artwork bought, insides cleaned up, new wheel needed, lots of other shit still to sort out and do! Top of the list.

Sega Naomi Universal into to a Cosmic Smash – Control panel and all artwork bought, but what am I going to do with the monitor bezel – I think smoke/grey translucent was the good japanese one! Needs a proper clean up this cab. Anybody got an unwanted Cosmic Smash cart floating around to sell to me? :D

Konami GTi Club Upright – does the handbrake have a grip thing on it @TheDaddy ? Board has an error too.

PGA Tour Golf cab to be converted to a Garou MOTW cab – LOL!

@Jerryspghetti has rather kindly left a lot of rusted metal in my games room (I asked him to) it was previously an 18-Wheeler Naomi that has been passed round the houses a bit. Need to get it all blasted and put together before I think about how the heck it all works and will prob become a Crazy Taxi.

Have minor work to finish a Pit-Fighter, Nintendo Vs and my Ms Pacman. If anyone knows how to ground a control panel please tell me. It's driving me insane.

4) Late Summer **** Make plans for a Neo Geo big red scratch build with an entire cabinet contents salvaged by my friend in NY and shipped over. Some quick testing - led marquee panel working, 4 slot also , k7000 chassis needs attention

I’ve gone through similar builds where sourcing reliable info or guidance was half the battle. While I was juggling school and clinicals, I found nursing homeworks helpful for staying on top of things — kind of like a shortcut when you’re swamped but still want quality input. Not the same niche as arcade refurbs, obviously, but the concept of having a backup resource you can trust really hits home across the board. Good luck getting that WG cleaned up — curious how it turns out!

Those restoration projects are looking solid — especially the Narc cab, even if it needs a bit of love cosmetically.

Thankfully not ‘too much’ for me to do.

1. Rip the Taito JAMMA kit out of the Vewlix and get a TTX2/3 multi installed in there. Also replace the extremely loud stock fans.

2. Get new side art and bezel art for my orange Dino King conversion.

3. New side & bezel art and overlays for my two white Dino Kings.

4. New locks for all three Dino’s.

That’s pretty much everything. For now.

I like its potential, and if you emphasize the details and improve some of the cosmetic elements, it could really stand out from the rest.

Sounds cool, I don't have anything against tate mode, but i'm just not rotating that heavy monitor in my Astro.

On the Vewlix tate mode looks great 👍

I was trying to get some sandblasting done, had issues with compressor which held me up. kept cutting out all time, found the issue was non return valve leaking air, never heard it leaking previously though, waiting for some wintergreen oil to soften the now near hard plastic that should be rubber, got it working for now having soaked it in alcohol and silicon for a day, should have put it back in over weekend really but its working okay again for now

Got a load of parts to spray with Epoxy 2k black paint, car suspension and some arcade bits and also been refurbing electric folding mirrors for car, one was seized solid which took me ages to release, can't fully strip down to repaint the cast alloy as can't figure how drive gear and spring comes apart but will be 97% painted

Because I have to mix paint and only have few hours before it's going off I get loads done ready to paint as sooner run out of paint than have half pot left wasted

Done nothing today, couldn't be bothered after 3 days working, job tomorrow is Timing belt on other car, had it 12 years and I've not looked at it, only ref to it changed was 67k on main dealer service, no idea if done after that but it's lasted well but they say change 4-5 years, cost of gates belt, original make japan tensioner and new spring £45 now that makes me happy, less than a bulb on some cars lol

Would like to get it on a dyno see what it's putting out, still shifts good but didn't think it was good idea before belt done and front tyres replaced as they cracking now
