And The announcement of biggest arcade opening in the uk is just great news to everyone who loves this hobbie.
We all must support this new venture for the good of arcade gaming in this country.
A huge thanks to James and andy for making this happen
And for the mics and mixer, thank you so much
And luke wells for behind the scenes tech
Also like to thank andy Welburn for the dk marque,so cool

and good luck on your new adventure in the USA .
Olly always good fun to chat with you buddy .
Also Tony for having the best t shirt in town love you mate .

Love playing the old games but the best bit as always is the atmosphere.Great bunch of dudes.

Took me back 30 years to the old arcade days and that's what it's all about.
Only problem was a lack of beer cause I was driving so if I seemed quiet that's why.

Thanks to RGP and everyone else for making it another great night.Hope I can make a few more.

i think this one was the best one yet...such a great bunch of people attend these, its wonderful to chat to so many like minded folk. Highlight of the event was tony's tee shirt, that announcement, and finding out that they drink fizzy milk down south.

Again thanks goes to James for organising another awesome night at the Lair and to Mark for the excellent food.

It was nice saying hello to forum members for the first time (U72, Alpha1, P-Man, Russ J, John Bud, Dave O) and catching up again with others (Colin D, Pacman83 , Tony E, Luke, Mark the Caterer) - sorry if I missed anybody!

Thanks goes to P-Man for tuning tips on Tempest and Russ J for playing tips on Star Wars and Defender (both of which he got the high score on the night).

Although I didn't have a go, Lurch's Occulus Rift kit looked cool.

Yeh I was showing it off at the table in the main room but the call of the games got to me so It wasn't on for long.

As for the announcement - 'exciting' is a massive understatement! This is something that could, and should benefit the whole of the UK arcade community, and I hope everyone gets behind it. I was pretty gobsmacked when I saw the scale of the place!
