I had a really really great weekend! Really nice to talk to you all and play so many games and show off and all that! Many thanks to everyone involved, it was worth the wait.

Really surprised to see DOJ there, and even more surprised that I made it to the final boss after a while, since I've only made it to the final stage once before, and only lasted about 10 seconds on it.

Defender and Robotron...feck....should have come

Playing Defender on a full cab for the first time in what must be 20+ years since I last saw one in the wild, was just fantastic. I know everyone has their own personal faves, but for me there's just something about the way Defender plays , quick taps of reverse to nail things as you've zoomed past etc.
- not that I'm much good at it, but it just 'does it' for me, it feels smooth/fluid when you're having a good game (and a nightmare when you're not!).

What a great night, the RGP Lair just gets better each time, Lair 2 was a huge success and instantly took you back to the 80s.
