what kind of fuse box setup do you have to power your basement? do all the houses along your street have similar spaces under their houses? i wonder what else your neighbours do with theirs? be mindful that they don't drill their way into your basement and nick off with all your goodies.

Some tricky games to maintain amongst the collection so it's amazing to see them all working.

Do you do your own repairs on them or just been lucky?

When we moved in, the power supply to the house was the original Victorian one, there was a 3 phase supply running along the back lane, so we upgraded to that. The basement runs of one of the 3 phase's

Next door has exactly the same lay out as ours, the rest of the street has basements but they are more like cellar's as they have dampness issues. Our house originally shared the servants with next door when we removed the plaster we found the original entrance between the two houses what had also been bricked up.

that's awesome. so there was a doorway there between the 2 cellars that was just boarded up? when you reopened it and before you bricked it up, did you go into your neighbour's basement and up the stairs to say hello?

I can tackle any level of pinball repair, on 1980's arcade machines I can do the basics, but I cannot diagnose PCB faults to any great depth. That said once they are down there I done tend to get any failures after the first few weeks of ownership.
So I guess I have been lucky Phil ??

No the door way had been bricked up and plastered over, when we removed all the plaster from the basement we found the bricked up doorway, If I win the lottery I will buy next door and knock through

Beautiful photos and cab.

And a proper 10p with weight. You knew if you had a fivers worth of those coins in your pocket.

I'm not keen on those Williams transformer boards though, with the very bare exposed live fuse you can see just above the utility socket. And the live filter and transformer tags too. Usually all covered in dirt and crap too, unlike this example.
