Swapping 9110 monitor for K7000

I need some help / reassurance that my thought process is correct.

I have a MVS-4-25 Revision 3 that Ive owned for a number of years, it came with a PC power supply, Hanterax 9110 monitor, wrong coin door and missing wiring to bits and bobs.

I'm finally getting around to tidying it up and, ideally I would like to rewire everything back to factory specs.

My main focus for this thread is making sure my wiring looks ok for swapping the monitor over from the 9110 to the Wells Gardner K7000.

Here's a simple diagram which shows how things are wired up (You can see it's for 240v).

I would like things to run on 120v and use a step down... Yes I'm a wierdo...

Assuming the K7000 takes 120v and not 220v this is how I propose to do it:

(If the K7000 needs 220v I would wire it to there instead).

Does this look right? Am I missing anything?

i don't get why you want to run on 120v ac power in when your cab already has a stepdown iso transformer

the correct way to do this is keep the cab 240vac input and then just remove the hanty power cable and then put the k7000 power cable on the 0/120 windings

do not have power supply ac on same line as monitor power, you can get interference issues

the way you want to do it would require replacing the cab transformer with a 120v iso transformer

Okay, thanks for the clarification.

I assume that the ISO Transformer that was installed wasn't the original then, I have no idea what's original and what's not in this cabinet so just figuring it out.

I will keep it on 240vac input and run the two cables need from 0/120 winding to the power for the K7000, removing the Hanterax cabling.

In regards to the power socket, it's wired to a PC power supply, so remove that and install a switching power supply, but that should be straightforward at least.

if you install a standard switcher then set the power supply to 240 and take the power wires from either the primary 0/240 winding of the transformer or ac power in socket line filter

the option i have given is exactly how we built cabs in the 80's and is tried and tested

unless that cab was built in usa then the installed iso transformer is probably original
