That's a big project for sure. Looking at the pic of the bezel it looks more generic as it's got Puckman and Rally-X art on it.

Well spotted Olly, I wonder if they did those games with all the same bezel and just used the Marquee to suit whatever game!

I'm not much into generic so think will keep the options open for Galaxian or Pheonix

Yup, that's identical to mine. It's the cab I have that's seen the most coin, close to a million on the coin counters, and the joystick & buttons are so loose it's a joy to play

Two overlapping halves at 300DPI off a flat bed should be fine. No hurry, I might use it to make a sticker for the "Tehkan" oval (I'm assuming yours is not a sticker but in the print, correct?)

OK, turns out I need to rotate the CRT in mine so I'll be taking it apart over the summer and can scan the bezel at the same time.

I did the CRT rotate on my Phoenix and thus stripped it down. As requested, here are some full res photos of the internals. Note that mine has the original Japanese monitor replaced with a Hantarex MTC-900 + transformer (after the LOPT blew on the original). The Taito board set is also a replacment, the one that was in it was a GGI Corp. version. I don't know if a Tehkan copyright board set exists - I've never seen or heard of one yet.

I'll scan in the bezel and Tehkan instruction card soon. Both will need some artwork restore work doing on them and I might consider a repro bezel & card for mine given the fag burns, scratches and splits on the bezel and the near complete sun fade on the instruction card :|
