Already told vic but for everone else's reference; for a PAL N64 you need a modified S-Video or scart cable for the best picture (unless you're going RGB mod). It's a bit of a manual process to order one (via email) but there's a guy here whom I've happily bought from: http://www.robwebb1.plus.com/n64/n64.htm
As usual we (UK / Europe) got a bad deal with the console. It's one of the most expensive to RGB mod because of it as there's no clean RGB signal coming out of the video IC (cheers Nintendo).

Another great show lads, what with listening to the last one and the new one this week, you've made my commutes most enjoyable 
I always think of loads of things I am going to say, but by the time I get home and type this I forget.
There were 3 Ridge Racer Games on the PS1, Type 4 was the last one I think, all 3 are great arcade style games, rage racer was another cool game on the console too.
