Ok, so maybe it's not up to date, but this is inside one of my Dad's arcades in 1972-3. In the far corner, you'll see a couple of pintables. I have a few pictures like this but unfortunately, I can't seem to find any with videos in them. I can post a few more if anyone wants me to.

I posted some photos of the arcades my Dad had in the newbies section you can find some there, but here's a few old photos from our arcades.
Here's how we did things in the 60s - This arcade used to build up each year on a scaffolding frame over the beach as you'll see in the photo after this one. It would never be allowed in this day and age.
I'm biased, but as far as I'm concerned it doesn't come any cooler than this!

These two were in Burnham On Sea. My Dad also had one at the Casino in Canvey Island from 1958-62.
He also had an arcade that travelled in and around London from the 50s to mid 60s.
I've worked for my Dad in all of them and have also managed arcades in Essex and Bedford, and during the early 90s had videos in Pubs, Shops etc from Dorset to Devon.
I've been out of the business since 1992, but really fancy the idea of opening a retro video arcade in the South of England. I'm not sure it would be easy to put a decent collection of machines together....and raise the money to do so!

We had that for years. It went in pretty much every arcade we had. It was a lovely looking machine. I'm the horrible little kid leaning on the upright!
