It was how it was back in the day - we did lose one end of the building once - the wind blew it off one night!
However the arcade itself was solid. I remember kids used to go under the arcade looking for pennies.

that fell through the cracks in the floor!

Times were different then.

I lost the original of this picture, but cropped this from when I posted it on my Instagram account a few years back. This is a pic of the original watercolour mocked up marquee from Atari's Vortex, which of course became Tempest. This art is installed on the original prototype cab which is out there somehwere. (I could tell you but I'd have to kill you).

He was a pretty big gamer, wasn't he? I remember an issue of Edge (or possibly GamesTM) where he talked about his favourites. By the by, his autobiography is f**king hilarious. Highly recommended. RIP.

IMPOSTER!
Just saw this in Coral Island, Blackpool. You feed this machine all the tickets your kids have won on those lovely redemption games and as it counts them it makes the Pac-Man eating dots sound.

There was also a crane grabber with a huge Star Wars topper, but we won't go there.

Okay this is more personal but worth a share...
My girlfriend and housemate enjoying a gaming session on new years eve.
She's actually really supportive of my hobby and also got very addicted to Mr. Do.
She's also going to help remake the cushions for my pole position cockpit.
That's cool in my book
