This will be my first. I do like the look of a lot of the electrocoin cabinets though. I’ve been after a Neo geo one but missed out on a couple.

I’m not really a golf person but it was cheap. Not sure to keep it standard or convert to a mame cab

Think I have had most of these later EC cabinets over the years but just kept target toss pro. The Bowling is fun also but not much of a golden tee fan . Will probably have a polo 2 inside or a polo star if your lucky as tri-sync.

Thanks for the link!

I've been looking for a Mazeman for many years. I didn't think there would be one still out there! Just goes to show.

Pretty sure I've only ever seen one pic of of an Electrocoin Mazeman in an early 80s industry mag and I have the flyer which is also very rare but apart from that there's very little evidence that it ever existed.

I'd never usually suggest parting cabs out that have a chance of being brought back to life but unfortunately the cab looks a gonna to me so if anyone buys them and wants to sell all the perspex art, control panel and pcb (if there is one) then I'd give you a good price as I could switch it onto my incomplete cab to bring a Mazeman back to life. The poor Space Panic doesn't look in great shape either :(

if it was me and something I was looking for over the years i would just do a deal with him, go pick up 2 EC cabs, the wood can always be remade or if you have cab already even better
Always miles away though aren't they, a pain that is specially if you need a van

If it weren't a 600 mile round trip nearly and I had space in my storage i'd have a go at those as they're not a bad starting price. If all three went for the starting price, about 160 quid for all three isn't bad despite two of them falling to bits. Phoenix looks rescuable for sure, Mazeman and Space Panic definitely need the chipboard replacing! I'm pretty sure I could get them in my van without them completely falling to bits (putting a strap round each one with a strong bit of ply or something where they're weakest), but i'd remove the monitors, glass bezels and marquees before moving them anywhere!

I just haven't got the space for any more cabs. Also I'd end up trying to somehow save large parts of the cab as I just can't bear breaking 40+ year old cabs up so it would become a mad project that I'd never finish.
The passion is still there for all this stuff but I just can't motivate myself to do anything that takes any real effort these days.

what's happened to us all, years back I'd be on my way there if something came up for sale, apart from no space either I haven't got the motivation anywhere near what I used to
We all need to snap out of it lol, I just don't like london area much, if it was somewhere close I'd happily go and pick it up, if I didn't have to go work and they didn't close roads off all the time like old days I'd be on me way places Sat or Sun morning early and get back before mad traffic, roads all full of spazos these days I don't wanna go anywhere much

Potentially a great deal for somebody, Phoenix looks in pretty good shape and hopefully somebody can do a deal with Matt here on those Mazeman parts.

Shame the two Electrocoin cabs are in such a sorry state.

Fairly involved projects for sure but all doable and tons of original parts to work with … come on Electrocoin Lovers !
Likely complete cabinet rebuilds with low/ no expectations for internals … time and space is the factor, transport is easy from my side. Possibly I could help @_Matt_ ,
Hopefully the EBay seller is realistic in his price expectations for these 3 cabinets and they are saved.

Thanks a lot Ant for the offer but i'm just hoping someone takes on the projects really, although i doubt anyone will. I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 go for around the start price.
I just don't want him, or anyone else to scrap them. That's happened twice in the last few years to these early 80s EC cabs with the cp, bezel and marquee still attached and they were in better condition :(

If you have an original cab to put it in that would be cool and wouldn't worry about scrap wood
He's only got the Phoenix for sale in the listing but other 2 are available, why they don't just list all 3 starting at £150 or all separate at £50 each I don't know
No one interested in the Phoenix Alca Geebee, pretty much same cab shape as original Namco one then

Well the offer stands Matt.
The physical condition of the cabinets look so poor they look unmovable in their current state. I wonder even if ratchet strapped up or a quick timber cradle was made whether they could be moved ?
Is your existing cabinet the same design and shape ?
Guessing there could be monitors inside and the frame is keeping the cabinet together perhaps? ….sad to see . I don’t know anything about either of these games.
Have you seen one in the flesh before or just in a magazine?
