Only took a few photos on my phone, couple of 'panorama' shots but they really don't do the place justice at all.
Superb outcome from everyone who's been working on this for the many many months past, :)

My only recommendation would be to either levy an entrance fee or have a donation bucket - maintaining all of those machines wont be cheap - and as for the electricity bill...!

This, this and this.

Hi guys.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those involved in making last night happen.

It really was gaming nirvana and good as they are, the photos and videos just don't do it justice. The cabs obviously stole the show, but it was the ambience, the heat from the screens, the sense of static electricity, the noise of the buttons on Track and Field being owned by someone with ridiculous skills and just the sheer amount of people smiling from ear to ear.

James and Andy, I did try and introduce myself and thank you but you were swamped by others more qualified than I (and who you actually probably knew!), so here's my big thanks and already looking forward to the next. Well worth the 2 hr drive.

Talking of value for money, you really should at least have a donation bucket out, would've been more than willing.

I played lots of cabs that I haven't seen or played for decades. The warmth of those memories was only beaten by the temperature inside! There were also cabs that I have heard of but never played, some of which were surprisingly addictive.

One of my favourites was the Bombjack cab which I left my mark on - NJM

It was also good to put faces to the names on here, big thanks to BigPhil for being the only one to help me out by wearing a name badge.

Made some new friends too, all in all a top night to be had.

Thank you

Neil

Hey! I thought you were only allowed one go....! ;)

What an incredible night. I was own away by my first RGP party a few years back, yet somehow each one tops the last.

Sat inside those DLX Segas took me right back to my youth. I WAS 13 again. :)

Great work guys, I hope you had time for some fun too.

24 hours ago we were all kids again, playing our favorite games that we haven't seen in decades, that familier warm electrical smell, those neon lights, the noisy hustle and bustle of like minded ppl enjoying themselves, the sounds of multiple video game 'beeps' and 'blips' filling the air, having a general great time with all my arcade buddies

Bloody fantastic stuff.............

And know its a boring Sunday evening, crap on TV,typing rather pesamistic posts onto an internet forum (

Erm, I did only have one go, must've been someone else with the exact same initials, that filled up the board!

I wondered who the elusive POO was, saw your initials on a few cabs.

Top night!

I'm overwhelmed with the amazing feedback, I know Andy's been hard at work today on his new shop ready for opening tomorrow as well as tidying up.

I made bacon butties for those that were still at mine when we got up.

There's generally a sub-culture competition to get that photo of me in a rarely seen act of playing a game (tm pacman83/cmonkey), however here's a rarer shot.

Carol playing a game...

She's become a burger time fan. We went out for tea and when we got back it was "put my game on then"

Anyway, when do you all want to come back???

Place looks amazing fellas, seeing that long row of EC cabs takes me right back to being a kid and discovering a new arcade on some family holiday and strolling up and down in awe of new and familiar games.

That's awesome!! the work done in this Arcade is incredible, the amount of the machines is just dream coming true, the lights, ambience, people...

Thank you sincerely for all this not only because us, but for all the Arcade gaming history.
