I am struggling to think how to get it here...
an idea...
Chappy, ( or anyone close to it ) do you have transport big enough to collect it, and store it until an event like revival.
Then take it to revival with your own kit/cabs
then I will take it from revival with mine...
just ideas..
I think it would be great to have another VR machine restored in the UK.

I think the reality is that you need to get a van, a plan and just go up there and get it. As the land is owned by someone, you are asking Chappy to trespass on site and remove a large item of questionable ownership. If the rozzers or owners of the property start asking difficult questions to a ninja'd up Chappy in a transit, it's going to put him in a very awkward situation.

If you take this without permission you will either have to get it yourself, or someone will have to accept the risk
Alternatively if you ask for permission, there is a chance that they will say "No". If you then take it, they will know who to look for.
If they say "Yes", then other people could get involved in helping you to uplift it

get me contact details and pay for a transit and diesel, i will get it down in time for martin arriving at mine. i would estimate £50 for fuel and possibly the same for a van. i will ensure i have a spare body with me to uplift it. i had thought of trying to dis-mantle it but i don't think it will be possible due to rust etc. if it's getting snaffled it will be in 1 big lump. lmk what you think and i will start the ball rolling.

no I wouldn't do that, if it was nearer to me I would actually seriously have it in my workshop now for one of you guys to organize collection of it, I wouldn't have done it for any profit
