Update!

The speaker panel appears minted and finished now. Impressive.

The main cabinet has the extra wood batton made and attached now. It appears the one that was on there didn't cut the mustard so has been replaced also

Primed ready for painting.

You can see we're not at the apply cabinet decal state yet. Hope that comes soon

Whilst the pinball collectors appear to do a great job of cataloging and making repro parts it still looks like a serious mission to track down all the playfield items on this one, I guess they got worn out and discarded or did people take the cool looking ones as souvenirs?

. It's going to be factory fresh and surely worth the effort on completion.

Got a spare 10 minutes?

Wow Oll, this is really is going to look better than new. The NIB games I've seen have always had some kind of blemish or imperfection!

Fantatistic work coinsidering what you started with. I'd have walked away from it in that state....

Yeah i'm a crazy mofo. But I did feel she could be restored so I went for it. Will cost a bit though but then it's a bit of a OTT one this one. Be interesting to see how it pans out!

Should anyone wish to commission Manny for pinball restoration work I can really recommend him.

Check out Woodtechworkshop.com or woodtech.co.uk but his Flickr stream is best for pinball restoration examples currently.

A few more pix of progress. Most of the internal metal parts have been restored ready to go back in the cabinet.

There's also #arcade and #lasergames - both are US collector IRC channels though.

Update!

Here's some pictures of the main bolts that were removed from the cabinet. You can see the suffered from massive surface rust where the cabinet was in a cold warehouse for so long..

Check out the same bolts, blasted and then repainted to mintyness!
