Problem Blazing Angels Sit Down HELP PLEASE

It's because I've been moving loads of stuff about and not finished tidying things up, this is why I'm trying to sort more to sell, in a world where CRT's are getting hard to find it's a true pisser when you loose another one, anyway mine is actually different controller and windows just picks it up, check it's all ok in windows first

Have you got Power connector from PC to the GVRI/O like this, It may need it not sure but it will need it anyway

@Bods I’ve gone to settings and in other devices I’ve found GVRI/O mini BA but only option is to remove device?!
I’m assuming that’s recognising the USB running off the board I’ve connected?

Ok so googled and BA is Blazing Angels etc so PC connected is definitely aware of IO board

Hahaha well maybe in theory but I can categorically promise you it’s recognising NOTHING once game launched. I’m even launching BA on teknoparrot. Not that it makes any difference because NOT one game has recognised anything

in the Game Settings is it on Direct Input

and then in Controller settings again can you setup the buttons and axis, mine was setting up but now gone loopy as wires have broken off the throttle

Yep always on direct input
No part of the problem is when you go to controller set up and click on test for example to select a button assigned they all say (pic below) which appears off the mouse button when selecting the category to assign to it, if I don’t use mouse to select it than nothing else selects it either

I'm getting the same issue with mine but it says slider 0

When I first connected mine, It let me setup fire buttons then set X and Y and then went loopy with slider and now get same when I click on anything with controller in usb and click mouse button to select it sets straight to slider on everyone

I tested out all driving games on my nephews machine with old thrustmaster wheel and it worked great, he used his Xbox controller and all working fine
This is annoying me now too

He had PC issues before the PSU was blown up so will still be back to same situation with original PC

Sometimes you wonder why you bother with anything, can't find glue for bits of plastic I need to stick together, break the tube, this don't work and worst part is I now have to work 4 days and more hours because of shitty bank holidays so it's 2 of my weeks ruined and the weather is a joke to top it all off gotta else i'll...

If it makes you feel better mate I am off for the bank holidays , Off tuesday as well so 5 days off now. Just looking at booking a few days away (Blackpool so may sneak to Arcade Club !), Just got home and the wife has cooked me a smashing chicken dinner. Going to stick my feet up and have a glass of very expensive rum my Son brought me for my Birthday. Oh and filled my car up for free at work as well so another 240 miles to go before the next free charge.

Its not all doom and gloom , lol

global vr stuff is not rocket science, remember i fix these in some quantity - maybe done a few hundred of various games
first thing you do is fuck off out the 4 port usb pci card and then you might get somewhere
the original fault sounded like bad hard drive or corrupt software, a good description of the actual windows fault code would have been helpful, so first thing to do there is install a new hard drive and run recovery software - still fucking off out that pci card

I got hold of another PC at the time and reloaded the original disc and dongle inserted put it back in, all was good and it loaded up etc but it was similar issue to what I have now, it would not start a game, if I accessed test menu and calibration that all worked but than it would still not start a game. Thats when I than came asking and was made aware of teknoparrot option which was appealing as it sounded like I could not only get it back up running but run some other games of interest with it.
My plan is to still get original pc fixed but I’ve got distracted trying to make this work. I was given advice about power supply replacement on here and was shown a cheap 450w psu which I purchased, I’ve not attempted to put it back in original tower yet but that is on list to do to see if original can get running again, at least than if I want to I can now just give this emulation dream up.
(I’m sorry I’ve no idea what the pci card is)
I was assuming I could take hard drive out the first I’d tried to use and with the psu replaced that might get it running again but I really have no idea anymore 😂

do you have the recovery software disks with the machine, if you don't then its all a bit pointless

Yes if you mean the cd disc. And a game dongle.

well then its an easy fix, show me a photo of the rear panel of the pc- the bit with the motherboard ports etc
