i have a van full of tools and a pick up I'm not buststing my balls moving that bad boy on my own but more than happy to strip anything out if anyone wants stuff from it, depending where in wiltshire i could do later today or tomorrow morning. Or if anyone wants a lift with it let me know

Like I said in my post happy to take the champ sprint and pay costs or if not and it's gets stripped I could do with the monitor for my paperboy cab as the tube in mine is almost at the end of its life!!!

Sadly this was a no go.

Rob (runkthepunk) did some investigation work on this, and the site is an ex-MOD location which is incredibly difficult to get into, so getting anything out, even a monitor, would prove very difficult.

I don't want anyone to risk anything trying to get the cab, so unfortunately we've had to abandon the idea.

Hopefully there are more cabs out there that can be saved, but hopefully in better, and more safer locations

If I've learned anything from Alpha1 and his raid finds, it's that if you really want to get stuff a little perseverance with phone calls and emails can usually get you proper access to places so you can take stuff away. The majority of the time the people are more than happy to see crap cleared from sites if there's no hassle for them.

It's surrounded by trees and undergrowth with steeply sloped grass banks, there is a fence all the way around and access is gained by crawling through a person sized hole in the fence. Honestly it won't come out without going through the main entrance which itself has boulders in front of the gates which are razor wire topped.
