Have PM'd since that should trigger an email notification.

I would say please bring one along anyway but I'm loathe to ask unnecessarily as there's nothing worse than having to bring a bunch of stuff with you!

For the record, the talk I will be doing is "PCB Repair 101". It will mostly be free-form, otherwise known as winging it but I am putting some slides together so that it has some form or structure. A white board will almost certainly be a must as well.

I can then follow this up with shorter demos on various bits of kit if this is of interest but that will absolutely be off the cuff.

I am trying to find the time to put together something on Vectrex coding using modern tools, aka known as how to get stuff done in the quickest possible terms without getting bogged down with 6809 assembler. I would make no reservations though about the fact that most of that will be snore worthy unless you know programming, preferably C and some of the concepts of at least what a vector is!

If there's no interest on that then I can skip it...

I could do a talk on the realities of pcb + psu + montitor repair, however I have no time to do slides (this is sounding very professional). I'll check with Martin to ensure we cover different aspects and not repeat anything.

Horrible weather today, let's hope it is better travelling tomorrow.

BTW, please can someone bring along a few Oscilloscope probes, as we are short.
-appreciated! :)

I would be interested in a Vectrex programming talk

Any early riser drivers available to pick me up from the rail station tomorrow (Saturday) around 9:30am? I was planning on walking but last night I found myself bundling up consoles to donate to the museum and now my luggage is a bit heavy! I realised I'd been given quite a few consoles over the last year and now it's time to pay them forward.

IF I get up in time I'll give you a lift Phil as I'll be just around the corner.

I'll pm you my phone number.

Thanks ianski, I'll take you up on that! Thanks zapiy but I'll only need you if Ian's catatonic at 9:30!
Cheers all.

Called Jason and he's pretty stoked about this weekend!

The only problem we have now (and it's a nice one to have) is that we've got a minimum of 4 talks and probably not enough time to do them all on the first day. We'll sort it out tomorrow.

I would love to go to this tomorrow
What's the deal?
If I use the site to pay now, can I still get in?
Would have the confirmation on my phone ready for tomorrow
Will that work?

The staff at the museum are awesome. If you say you've paid online and show them the email or whatever on your phone then they'll let you roam. They're easy going.

You can use your phone or pay on the door mate, just whisper the word "Tempest" quietly and you'll get a discount
