As soon as I saw the Big Run cab I wished I'd bought it. All the cabs were in really nice condition everyone is gonna be pleased with their purchases. OutRunners was really nice too.

Nice pics Oll.

Agree with Muddy, there were cabs there that were really in great condition. I really liked the larger MVS cab with sideart, it was better than it looked in the pics.

Whoever grabbed the flyers, would you fancy selling me the Paperboy one I see hidden away in there :) I notice quite a few Deith Leisure ones too, was there an Outrunners one at all?

I took what I could fit in the car, there were still 3 25/28" monitors there. I took 2 20" tubes which were missing purity rings, 2 Hanty 9000 chassis with missing parts. 1 20" samsung tube with very heavy burn and a faulty polo chassis plus a complete 19" wells gardner again with very heavy burn. Chassis useful for spares and the 2 complete monitors will be fixed up eventually but all the tubes were pretty shot and just worth keeping for spares & emergency use really.

Thanks for that. I will continue to keep a look out for a spare tube.

What chassis is it for? I'll see if I can find one suitable.

Certain type of tv can provide a perfect burn free tube. I know that 20" matsui tv use a nice Orion tube you can hook up to a Hanty polo chassismuddymusic2014-03-31 23:32:30

You've actually just made me wonder if there is a donor TV to arcade monitor chassis list anywhere.

I remember Ace doing a thread on this a while back. I think most Samsung tubes he came across were compatible with an MTC 9000

It would be great to have some stickied tech threads showing compatible TV's and their tubes/yokes married to an arcade frame and chassis.

I agree. Does anyone have any info on this, from experience, that can post something?

from what I found, you probably wont see the exact same tubes that are in the TV's

I tried to find this sort of info years back but not really anything about, and it's not gonna get easier to find, only harder to get the info

my Ninja Warriors has the Hanty MTC9000 with I think 15" screens 37CM or something, really odd ball ones that I've not found in any other machines yet as they are the flatter squarer style, not FST but not really curved.

Middle screen has some burn so I wanted some spare tubes, I searched loads and loads of TV's at the local tip, managed to find a Philips and Toshiba that used very similar ones, but nothing with the exact same number, hopefully if the scan coils are close they will fit, but it's not easy to find them, as one make/model TV can use multiple makes and types of tubes and have different neck connectors
