They do this on a pinball forum I frequent. They have a seperate thread for different games and everyone who owns that particular game posts a pic.

I’ll start!

Needs new side art and a general tidy up but it’s fully working and has the upgraded metal steering gears. It’s also got an Outrun turbo shifter for some reason

The mechanism underneath the plate is from an Outrun turbo. It has a generic stick attached. Works fine but doesn’t sit flush

Nice idea this and what a game to have as the first 'owners club' cab thread on ukvac

Fired mine up for the first time in ages today so took a pic in its new location (between it's offspring you might say!)..

UK cab, had it since 1999 and gradually restored it over time. Has NOS map, steering wheel emblem, monitor surround and original WG monitor completely free from burn! Needs a tweak though as the picture is a little wide.

Lets see some more!

I have a dlx that came to me completely in pieces, pretty quickly assembled most of it, but now very slow progress due to lack of time. Monitor issues sorted, board issues 1/2 sorted - unfortunately the sound custom is failing, drive board or motor - not sure which and not sorted and the amp is bust. But you can play outrun (and turbo outrun, oh yeah!) on it.

Here's mine - it's not fully working at the moment though unfortunately - had a few problems I'm currently sorting out (the photo at the bottom is older and the cab has the proper badge now)

Good stuff, how do you guys get photos of the screen without the refresh lines showing?

Nice to see three of the four versions already and good to see the map on the mini cabs too - most were lost but now we have excellent repros they can furnish the minis once more!

I wonder if anyone has the lesser seen standard sitdown?

Nice looking mini - you've got the same OutRun keyring as me too

I like how the cab almost seems to be leaning back so you can see the After Burner sideart!

I've always been curious as to how the serial number on the bezel hologram relates to the interior serial information. Also curious as to whether the number format can be decoded in anyway to figure out how many cabs were manufactured in each territory.

This is my Outrun cab, dug out of the back of a garage in 2016, completely fubar'd when she arrived so has been completely stripped and rebuilt. Still haven't managed to get a steering wheel in anything like reasonable order so she's sporting a karting race wheel in the interim.

I find this topic very elitist. You should all be ashamed...

... that said, if someone wants to sell me an OutRun I'd happily join in

Loving those DLX's. What a cab!

The deluxe was the first version I saw and played while on holiday in Bournemouth in '87. Unforgetable feeling, totally immersive experience.. I remember thinking how cool it was that the dash was backlit just like my dad's car! Those things mean a lot when you're young.

I still find it such a great little attention to detail.. Sega really put love into their cabs back then.
