Just because one person values a machine LOW it doesn't mean everyone does

As said, 3 screen Taito boards have gone mad in value, I wish I hadn't sold one of mine now but you never know whats gonna happen in a few years and when you need money at the time you need to claw some back to pay for things

If you ask me £1000 for Ninja Warriors is the lowest I'd expect to see, it's a rare machine anywhere in the world now and we only got a converted Darius cab here, and a poorly converted one at that so I'm one very lucky person to have a fully dedicated one and not converted, also not the ususal Romstar model from USA either, never seen another the same as mine and wouldn't sell it like that guy, but maybe one day if someone paid like 10k in the future who knows, depends how much I needed the money

I would pay £1000 for Ninja Warriors

I wouldn't wanna pay £1000 for most of the machines that others pay that amount for like Star Wars, Tron or Defender

There isn't any need to people to be rude as you say, but that's people on this planet for you

All it takes is to say, sorry I'm not looking to sell it unless I was desperate for money

This was was a very smart posting....it covered every thing and you said explained your point.

Of course I know your NW...and I thought I kick my own ass wenn I heard that it was in Germany...so very close to me.

I have been told there are no dedicated NW´s, NW is a conversion-kit for Darius...so what is the truth now?

How I stated yesterday, the guy who was looking for a NW gave me some contacts of people who wanted to sell one.

One parted it out and sold the parts as nobody wanted it

, one went for 400.
2 more of his contacts came back in touch and think about a price.

With one guy I chat now every day on FB, a very nice person I going to stay in contact, if we make a deal or not.

If I come together with one of those guys the next problem waits...the shipping to Kentucky.

.... I want to add something.

You are absolutely right BUT its the same vice versa.

Only because some less people love a game does not mean it got a serious value.

I doubt that anybody in the scene counts NW to his grails (like I do) and a hand of lovers does not make a game very valueable, its the entire community that raises the value

Thats only my 50cent, somebody might correct me

Its not a question if I find a NW, its the question if I find it before Thomas leaves Kentucky for Austria with his container...I have around a year left.

By the way, the reason why I like it is not only the unique construction, it is one of the less games I have plaid as a kid....

..........so we had at least on piece here in Austria....but who knows where it went....even though Austria is small. A lot of stuff goes also to Hungary, Czech, Slovakia and and and....
or it is in storage somewhere........a storage like the one I found last year....I know that there is at least one I get the contact of soon.

I hope the guy....

No let me start in an other way.

Somewhere in this thread I stated that I pm´d some guys on KLOV and one had some recommendations towards 2 members who offered NW´s in his thread when he looked for one and one that he could´nt recommend.

One of the two is a guy I have on FB now named Jay, a great guy.
He said he want to get rid of, at least, 20 or more games.

As soon as the weather is milder in the states he is going to sort out the games in his storage and than he will tell me what his decision regarding the NW is.

Thanks for your posting, I answered the pm already, we discuss it via pm

Yeah Jay sounds like the GUY, but watch ya ring ha ha.

Anyway, have you looked at the shipping costs for such a large cab, i reckon you'll be looking at serious ££ , you have the internal shipping from Jay to port ( plus palleting ) then port to wherever you live , + actual container shipping costs + Tax Tax Tax, fag-end numbers i reckon £1500 to move a machine like that + insurance , cheaper option is renting a full container and ramming it with cabs thus being down the costs.

If you poke about on here, theres a damaged Darius Cab in germany that could be cheap, buy my NOS boards set, get some vinyls made ( it's a conversion kit anyway ) (( i might know a guy with the kit )) ) and away you go.

Now the £££ hit me with a PM offer, don't be shy

Forget it mate, SailorSat (the programmer and inventor of Soft15Khz) went there the next day that became public...

The smashed every thing with sledgehammers....the new owner of the area tears down everything and build up some totally new, the games only was ballast to him.
Some polish guys smashed to particles for 5€ the hour.

A anbelieveable loss for the community.

we have been to that place twice during the past few weeks. trust me... there is nothing left of the Darius-cab. it was destroyed before we had a chance to save it. we could manage to save certain parts though.

I would love to rebuild the 3 screen-cab. do you know if the measurements are available?

I have a plan and the measurements of the cabinet, but you needs to be really good to build that machine.
I also take in consiederation that the inerts might be quite complicated to copy and there are of course none of this in the plan.

It would be a long way to make the picture-projecton using the semi-trancelucent mirror works the way it should.
I am a Solidworks-engineer and make complicated stuff but I will already made many CAD-files for scratch-builds but even me I decided better to go with an original.

I exceeded my limit on Photobucket, so maybe you have to click the pictures to see them.

Grim, you could ask me to measure mine?

With a source I can ask every measurement on the fly I could do it.

Andy, you would also get the files for the case you ever need a piece reproduced.
You just send the file to the CNC carpenter and you get the piece ready to mount.

do you have the original artwork on the cab? don´t want to sound creedy.. but highres-pics of those would be amazing.

Just measured the front CP under section ( the part with the bar-step system ) , it's a tricky area to measure as side upper thrusters cut right though it!!!! , anyway it's coming in @ 6.53mm.

Not helped by a 14" monitor falling and hitting by upper-back, lucky i was wearing an old coat!!!
