I don't want to strip the CPO as it needs to stay original so now I've cleaned the topside I need to clean the bottom.
It's in great condition but there were some tiny rust spots so I apply rust remover.
And after 20 minutes it comes up amazing.

If you need a replacement piece of black laminated chipboard cutting to replace that split piece let me know as been making a few back runners for some cabinets recently.
Just realised it put the joystick dust cap on the top rather than sandwiched between bottom of CP and top of stick 🫣🫣🫣
I'll fix it later.
Started stripping cabinet bolts for some derust love.
Took both sides of speaker area out and all the front of the cabinet and a few of each side as a round 1.

Restoration looking lovely ! Control panel is beautiful
You could Zep the carriage bolts and use a simple 3 phase blackening process to get them nice and also stops future rusting corrosion. Did a huge batch here is link Blackening process
