The end is nigh!

The control panel that i covered in formica is still in the same state as i simply don't currently have the time to finish it at the mo but I had a mint spare which I populated which will do nicely for now.

Coin door fitted

New repro Bezel

Bezel, marquee & CP fitted

All that's left to do is fit the coin door lock, just received some original rear door locks so need to fit one of those, fit the monitor, check the +5 to the board/s, fit the instruction decal, coin decal and finally.....line it up with the others!

Cheers, Al

You should have got a job at Nintendo
That's better than factory perfect
You have taken great pride in the Nintendo uprights
And have only added to there unique beauty by restoring such a exquisite example of a much loved game
Hats off to you my friend

Thanks you guys

This one has been a big job, that's my fault but i'm happy with it.

Learned a lot doing this one especially with regard to splitting the cab and the paint finish. I have one more of these to do and will do everything I can to make it bigger and better as it will be my fourth and final sprayed Nintendo resto.....and there will be some bling so watch out!

The T-molding came from Chomping quarters, have a chat with Bill, he's cool

The electrics are done, forgot to upload a couple of pics....ignore the psu, these are great as it allows the use of the original harness without hacking it. I will rebuild the original though and probably install it.

The cab will hopefully be home tomorrow and i'll try and fit the monitor over weekend.

That's done, a pic will follow just for you

I've just remembered I need to cut out a black card bezel that surrounds the monitor and also the black card blackout section for the rear of the cab that hangs inside from the top. I have the originals which although are filthy and torn but are complete for a decent pattern. A couple of decals to apply and that will be it.

The last one will be started at some point this year but I probably wont post it here, pretty pointless really as it will be an almost exact resto as what's just been done here.

Cheers, Al
