Cheers Dave ! Pretty surprised also, somehow the laminated chip board stopped too much water getting inside which is a good thing for monitor chassis, psu and even the Computer.
Will take a look at PC tomorrow.
There was a car full of rotten wood to dispose of on the way home.

Great work and a great thread. I'm glad that glass bezel was still in good shape, that was a result. The bezel art is very subtle compared to the Goliath but it suits the cab.
The metal work on one of mine wasn't great (although not as bad as yours) but it came up not to bad.

I have some faded Electrocoin stenciling on one of these sections - Also seen on an advertising flyer before but would like to redo so might try and mock something up ? I believe original stencilling was in Silver and consisted of 'Electrocoin' lower middle (same font as side wings) , 2 circles around speaker grills and the xenon symbol in middle and then underneath each speaker were arrows pointing down to rejected coins.

This is another control Panel I have been working on for the Xenon and making some changes to the overpopulated surface - the eBay panel will get a Button reduction also before a new overlay.

Hopefully by Christmas I will have Super Contra running on it !

Yes that is bad. I used a combination of an electric sander and wire brushes for my drill. Took a while but it's worth it. Good idea trying to do the stenciling around the grills. Neither of mine had that on originally.
I've got a few UK Konami marquees but I haven't got that Contra, nice!
Love the SF cp. I thought it was repro at first because of the really good condition and the slightly off colours but that's probably just age.

Unfortunately it's usually a buisness like an arcade, bar or reseller that snaps up the bargains as soon as they appear, it's their job.

I think Polo is the better option straight off a regular arcade psu with no isolation needed. That said the 4 I have are all MTC with hantarex psu, would be a pain to replace and redo the wiring. I always have the hantarex psu and chassis fully serviced on each cabinet I bring in.

Such a vague description and rushed photographs but Looks like there was a 4 gang in the cabinet so either ‘upgraded‘ to lcd (😂) and maimed or could be a Polo?
Guess we may never know.
