Found this box inside , wondering if the stencilling is this logo - supporting the world of play?

I carefully removed some of the art from the cabinet in the lower section in the hope that it can be scanned and reproductions made. I have 2 Cabinets which have had the area around the coin door smashed so that art was saved from the ebay cabinet and will be remade. Other than the control panel, no repro art is available for xenon currently.

Also the lower side art on each side of coin doors

One side wing was in tact

These are now packed up and ready to send over to Olly at Arcade Art shop to be scanned

Been tacking the Xenon control panels
- removed ripped overlays , blanking out excessive holes made and welding, rust removing, spraying. Been a fair amount of work.

Think this Neo geo panel will end up going on a 4 slot electrocoin-welded in some bolts to hold joysticks so cpo is clean without bolt heads. Also decided to countersink the locking side parts underneath as was never done well on electrocoin panels and would show though on overlay.

After what feels like days of spraying, sanding, finishing and prep on a few Electrocoin control panels today was vinyl cpo replacement day. Woo Hoo !
have chosen to do everything in my work shop from start to finish rather than sending off for blasting and powder coating mainly as have lots of different ele, emts and finishes on the go.
Ok CPO time !
Xenon first !

All cpo's shown purchased through Olly at Arcade Art Shop. I have to say they look absolutely fantastic as you would expect from Olly ! He truly is a top professional and his attention to detail in creating and reproducing these is top Draw! Big thanks

This is already looking great, honestly wish I had the skills (or time to develop them!)

I've got a cab with slight ballooning on it which I'm tempted to have a bash at, but at the same time, it's not the end of the world and it's that risk reward thing I'm not amazing at!

Cheers mate appreciated.
Very happy with it, artwork is great and will match on a fully restored cabinet as Olly looking at side art and lower section I will be sending.
Have done 3 new overlays and prep is key, remove all rust then prime and finish making sure as smooth as possible. Changing cpo is a good time to clean out the buttons (leaf in particular on xenon’s) cleaning and servicing joystick .
If the overlay is original and complete I would not normally replace, the ones I have dealt with either have way too many button holes ( had some with 8 per player 😂) and CPO torn and lifting due to rust.

Just need to put it all back together and fit and then move onto the other rusted metal work.

Sorry sadly I don't have a xenon, like everyone would love one 😁 I've only got two x 3 buttoners at the moment. @agent4125 passed on a couple of midi panels to me I need to get some work done on, last year I think 😳.

I fall into the the camp of far too many projects, little time, yet still acquire stuff when it pops up.

That WILL be changing in 2025!!

(I suspect I said the same thing, somewhere on here last year 🤷‍♂️)

Totally understand mate, it can be a trap and then you don’t enjoy anything. Easily done !
I had a block of time off to crack on with stuff and I always find working on multiple parts ie control panels the most efficient way to go.
Once I have finished the xenon’s - looks like will end up with 4 now. Will put the remainder of parts / carcasses up for sale. With the new artwork which will be available soon it should make a nice project for someone else to enjoy and hopefully mean less cabs scrapped !

Can I ask how you cut the overlay holes so perfectly round? I put put mine overlay face down on some plywood and used a surgical knife but it was not perfect.
Hi mate
I leave the overlay with weight on overnight, think it improves adhesion.
I always cut the buttons out with panel upright in install position and make a small incision in Centre of button hole just as a guide point then work out to the edge of the circle in 4 points ( x like) then run a new blade on a scalpel against the metal all around. Normally get the cut tight to the edge on first pass but sometimes run knife around again.

Quick Sunday jobs .
Picked this plastic edging up off eBay - 6meters of the stuff , perfect replacement for the normally, short , cracked worn stuff you find on the top of a control panel. The xenon had it but in 2 pieces

The cpo looks, good work!

I've had a look through my pics as I'm sure I've got a good pic of the stenciling you were talking that was in good conduct but I haven't found it yet. May be on an old phone. I'll attach the ones i found so far but they are poor quality but show 2 variants. I'll try find a better pic.
