I am going to post up some pics of all of my cabs, starting with a pic of my Atari System 1 cabs.

I finally managed to get these in to place last night and just played my first game of Roadblasters in over 20 years.

Ultimately I think one cab will be going before too long as I plan to keep the parts from one to swap onto the other one when I fancy a change.

I thought it would be cool to grab a pic of them side by side though as they will be for a little while at least. Not seen them lined up like this since the 80's!

It is a bit cramped in my gamesroom though so this is about the best pic I could take.

EDIT. I seem to have lost these pics from the post as they were hosted on JAMMA+ and I copied them over to UKVAC from there. Shame, but if I do find some lurking on my old hard drives I will re-instate them at some point.

Very very nice

Was soooooo tempted by forcefulfils RB sale just recently. Had to use all my powers of resistance. Does seem a shame to split them, they do look cracking together especially being in such good nick. Looking forward to seeing some more pix! :)

Cheers DanP, yeh that is Phil's RB. I tried resisting but gave in in the end.......do you know what, I'm actually starting to like the game now too.

I used to think it sucked a bit BITD but thought I should give it a second chance.

Unfortunately though they are gonna have to get split eventually. APB could be coming back home soon and it's got nowhere to go!! All is not lost though as I think I have a good home for the empty System1 cab. A guy who has Marble Madness bits has been waiting to find a shell.

Can't bear to part with any of my other cabs either. Will get more pics up as soon as I can!! Some of 'em just need sprucing up a bit first.

sweet!! they look good next to each other!!!
I like the idea to of all the marquees around the top of the machines on the wall.

Yeh the marquees look better in person, as long as you're tall enough to see them above the machines though.

The ceiling is a bit low in my games room so that's about the only available wall space I can put them in.....this is quite good for keeping it warm though!

OK next up is my Super Sprint. Finally got around to applying my repro side art tonight, that I got done a couple of years ago so thought I may as well take some pics!

Big thanks to P-man too for the pcb repair to get it running again.

Space Harrier and Outrun now fully working too!

Not too easy to get much of Outrun in, but it's pretty tidy on both sides, could probably do with some new rubber matting at some point I suppose.

Well unfortunately one of the System 1 cabs has now gone to a new home. I do however still have the full MM kit from it to install in my Roadblasters whenever I fancy a change.

The good news is that this meant I could finally bring APB back home after a period of several months being kindly looked after by Robin_L. It's now also (almost) 100% working......there is a problem with the marquee lights in that at the moment they're permanently lit. The red and blue do not flash alternately like they're supposed to when you're in pursuit of criminals. I believe this may be a problem with Triacs - hopefully this can be sorted at some point in the not too distant future.

This cab could benefit from some new T-molding and I'm thinking of possibly also acquiring some repro side art for it. It's not all that bad but I would say is definitely the shabbiest looking of all my cabs.

Also in the background is one of my Lordsvale MVS cabinets. This one has the monitor orientated vertically and is running a MAME setup at present via a JPAC.

EDIT. I seem to have lost these pics from the post as they were hosted on JAMMA+ and I copied them over to UKVAC from there. Shame, but if I do find some lurking on my old hard drives I will re-instate them at some point.

Here is a slightly better pic of the Lordsvale cab. At some point I also want to get some repro side art for this too and for my other one which also has no side art on it (I do have the files though, just need a quality source of printing).

I think I will also get a new piece of glass cut too for this, as I think the original glass doesn't look right turned on it's side.

OK guys.........time for a little update to this thread.
As per my rules, still only pics posted up when the cabs are running so here is Centipede! Love the artwork on this one and it's now working better than ever infact due to the brand new trackball assembly I put in. It plays like a dream now, I just need to hone up my skills a little I think.

More to come soon as well. Since my last update there have been another couple of changes to the line up. The APB and Lordsvale cab with the monitor mounted vertically in this pic have both now gone. In their place is Asteroids and a generic Zaccaria cabinet. Both are now working sweet too, so pics coming soon when I get the chance.

EDIT 8/3/23. I seem to have lost these pics from the post as they were hosted on JAMMA+ and I copied them over to UKVAC from there. Shame, but if I do find some lurking on my old hard drives I will re-instate them at some point. Or I do actually still have this cab so will post some recent pics of it in a future update. Not much has changed other than it's surroundings. One of my favourite cabs this one. Had it since 2004 when I picked it up from Phil (eggwheatis)

All this talk of Asteroids lately reminded me that it was about time I put up a pic of my latest addition. This was taken a few weeks ago when it was working fine, unfortunately it seems to have developed a gfx fault since then.

As usual, the quality of my pics is hampered by the amount of space I have to get a decent angle for the photo but this is about the best I could do without a load more shifting cabs around.

Had just had freshly applied T-Molding prior to taking the pics. Hopefully it will look even more awesome once I get my repro control panel from the States and my brand new white buttons on it.

EDIT. I seem to have lost these pics from the post as they were hosted on JAMMA+ and I copied them over to UKVAC from there. Shame, but if I do find some lurking on my old hard drives I will re-instate them at some point.

Nice machines, for some reason the Space Harrier looks familiar. Does it happen to have some wood damage to the back of one of the sides, along the edge like the top layer is missing?
