Nice! This one did get sold to the museum. Their original plan was to put this compact Lordsvale in their private office area. It was awesome to see they did replace their public Electrocoin 6-slot with this one in the end.

To be honest, the American Neo Geo cabs are the big grail for me. I am still praying for someone like classicarcadecabinets.com or any other awesome person to make an accurate plan:(
One of my grails also my friend.
I have all the internal parts from a ‘Big red’ but need to rebuild
the shell.

Ah, this shell is yours? Or do you also need plans?
The shell was too poor in condition to move (let alone export) unfortunately but is complete and fully working even the original marquee led board. My friend did an incredible job saving. The k7000 monitor had been necked but chassis was good . I could perhaps help you if you see something on east coast US.
I need plans for the cabinet also.

Fair enough. It's a situation of Americans owning the cab not being obsessed enough to make a plan, and Europeans not having a donor to begin with.. If you do find something, I am obsessed enough :)

Hey, @mourix ... by any chance did you update the buttons in your cab?

I'd like to replace (but not throw away the originals) my ones with more modern/mechanical buttons, but retain the look and feel of the ones currently there.
I just don't really know what sizes to look at ... would these work?
( or are they considered to be 'bad' buttons ... like should I find Seimitsu / Sanwa buttons? )

I'd like to update the joysticks, too, to something where diagonals are easier / confirmed ... I wish there was a better way to make joysticks than the accepted norm. 😩

The originals are leaf. Mine crumbled so I put in Ultimarc Goldleafs. If you really want the click sound, IL buttons are of good quality too.

Aha! Thank you so much! ... This has basically confirmed that I'm looking for (ideally) 28mm diameter screwey bits ... noooooooice!

EDIT - Blimey ... 28mm Japanese 'clickies' doesn't seem like a thing ... 😅 ... looks like I might have to use a keyboard switch clone ... and DIY. 😬

Yeah.. This is a British cab, so Japanese parts were not common there in 1990...

In terms of joysticks ... this is a thing of beauty:
proxy-image

It's the Baji Stick by Devil Designs (a Chinese firm) ... and apparently is getting a fair bit of development ... couldn't really find much on it, mind.

Yeah, I ordered a bunch of Happ knockoff buttons (enough for both of my lords a leepin') yesterday with enough to cover both cabs.
All white ... and I'm going to sneak two additional buttons in for each player to ensure that (if I am feeling sneaky) I can slide Third Strike in the cab. SACRILEGE!!! 😲
( but i do like the idea of SF3:TS on one Lord and Garou on the other ... )

I see what you're saying ... but ... I don't really care about the value ... 🤷‍♂️

I got both cabs for good money (the worse condition one was £230 with a faulty one-slot) ...
...
Tell you what ... If I can find a decent front panel for both ... I'll compromise you and just keep the old one somewhere for someone that cares about that kind of stuff. (y)

It would be a hard one for me to endorse after the amount of blanking out / Welding of overpopulated control panels I have done for a while now. I guess in an ideal world find a second control panel and wire it up so that you could plug it into the Molex connector and have a separate kick harness ?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking ...
... actually ... would need to be that ... because I have said that these can both elsewhere for a few years if they are OK with the condition ...

... but that's a whole 'nother discussion.

Still, for the meantime, I can wire in the buttons I like, and put back the flappy ones if/when the other place wants them
